Meanwhile Playstation just released the biggest flop in gaming history, lost $400m, cancelled Factions losing millions in the process again, shut down 6 studios this year, cancelled Spiderman MMO, cancelled Twisted Metal, Their $3.4b Bungie acquisition is imploding, yet Ponies want to think that Sony is doing great.

I'm suprised by the number or people playing on PC in the xbox ecosystem (Windows Store and Gamepass). On 95% of lobbys I'll have a few people on console, 2-3 players on Steam and the vast majority with an PC with an Xbox logo marker. Their strategy is definitely working.

@@kainairsoft2331 Cod doesn't have DLCs. All maps are free. Skins and blueprints aren't which will legitimately incentivize people that didn't pay full price for the game. They got heat for Redfall because it was a bad game in a bad state. The ifs and buts are not important. I'm not sure why you're this hellbent on minimizing praise for Microsoft when it deservingly gets heat when they make a mistake. The marketing btw was much more generous for this iteration of Call of Duty. You basis for arguments don't stand on much ground or at least not grounds you seem to know.

@@kainairsoft2331 You can get the battle pass for free by collecting COD points over time. They do make the bulk of their revenues from microtransactions which makes Gamepass even more impactful. You seem to be sliding the Gamepass factor under the rug yourself like its nothing. 30m+ subscribers as well as the record breaking new subscribers Nadella was referring to, now have access the the biggest franchise in gaming. Its no small feat.

I have only had Playstation my whole life. But its not like I dont want Xbox to do well. Its actually the opposite. The more competition the better for everyone if you ask me. The tribal bullshit over two greedy corporations is really dumb. As long as I can still play COD I love it. More people get to play and maybe Playstation will step up their PS Plus or something as a result. To think that their gamepass wouldnt get a big boost to having the COD library is dumb as shit. Theres a lot of good games on there ontop of that. I have owned a Playstation my whole life but I will still call it how I see it.
