I've listened to so many different genre's over time. It is fair to say that it's hard to pin Dreamcatcher's style down. They do have a very eclectic style. I hope they do inspire other groups in the future. It probably won't spawn a new genre. But that's because it's too broad to be defined by a single genre even a new one! But since they are popular, and have such an eclectic style they are expanding the definition of pop.
