Bonvoyage is such a good song live. Since this is part of the apocalypse trilogy the context makes this a love letter to Earth as humanity has to leave to let it heal. My favorite part of the song is Jiu's pre-chorus section, "Every cell in me is drawn to you. Even when we're a little apart, we're still together", which illustrates gravity's effect. Even if we are separated from the Earth, it still pulls on every cell in our body, trying to draw us back. This whole From Us EP is structured like a breakup letter. The Intro is called From Us, which is how you start a letter. Bonvoyage is the bittersweet declaration that they're leaving even though they don't want to. Demian is the anger and confusion at the situation. Propose is them trying to bargain and force it to work. The final song, To. You, is who the EP is addressed to and it's the realization and acceptance that the one thing they wanted/needed the whole time was the person they're writing to. It's one of their most complete concepts from an album perspective. It's also their most cohesive album sonically as all the songs are variations of rock. 7 days left to the Virtuous comeback on July 10th. The lyrics spoiler dropped today for Justice and the snippet that's shown sounds amazing.

dreamcatcher \:D/ 1 week away from comeback :D. the new title track is called justice and it's the final part of a 2 part villians theme. ootd is part 1. ok, now for bon voyage lol. don't worry, it's very abstract. the visual plot is very simple - they are protectors of the planet and came to help save it. that's what the flying monolith is at the end. but the thing is, they can't save the planet for us, they can only help protect it to give mankind time to save ourselves. that's the force field turned on in vision and turned off at the end of bon voyage showing they they left. that's also why all the 'nature' seen in bon voyage is enclosed indoors, as if to protect it from the outside which was barren and destroyed. all the plants were inside and even a horse which is usually associated with running free in nature is kept inside. the flying furry radish as you call it lol is suppose to be the seed of nature which can help rebuild the planet. so the overall theme of the song is that mankind and nature are separably linked even if at times it may seem one side is trying to destroy the other. we have to remember this and work to help keep things in balance. all dreamcatcher can do is show us a vision of what can go wrong in order to show us how we can save ourselves. the red circle mentioned is marking a day when they won't need to protect us anymore, a day when we can bid them bon voyage and have all of humanity and nature balanced on good terms. I know dreamcatcher's music can be hit or miss for some folks who expect 'something' out of music. this is where many dreamcatcher fans different from other fans. every time we hear a new song, we shouldn't think like we heard it before. that's why it can be hard to digest many of dreamcatcher's songs on first listen because it may just sound so jarring and unexpected. some of my favorite dreamcatcher songs did not grab me initially but as you listen more and more you get it. no offense to kpop because people will like what they like and that's fine, but for me some groups have discographies are almost like remixes of old songs. it works otherwise we wouldn't have friday the 13th part 99 lol. when you listen to more of dreamcatcher's music, especially their b-sides, you will really see what they are about.

@@KuLaLisa BP was my introduction to K-Pop as well. Found them in the middle of the pandemic in 2020 and fell in love with them and K-Pop in general which led me to Dreamcatcher and I've been here ever since.

Yes, "Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right? My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity). SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace. There are still many things I don't know. For example, why are all three titles in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...) The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal. Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius.
