Dreamcatcher - "Breaking Out" MV Reaction

all the imagery is just referring to being stuck, trapped, restrained, etc and they are trying to 'break out' of the 'dark night' aka nightmare. the red threads of fate symbolize eternal love (use to tie couples together during marriage in asia) - so they are separated and cannot reach each other by ironically the love of others... until the end when they finally broke out and reached each other. again other imagery just referencing being restrained - beginning choreo shows members trying to reach out behind bars, walls closing in, hair(symbolizing strength) being tied up but then released, even yoohyeon's hand choreo showing a box being disintegrated, etc.. you can piece the others knowing this general theme. so basically just signifying they are moving on beyond their original nightmare concept. breaking out kind of follows up on piri which shows them trapped in nightmare situations as usual but they use the piri (flute) used to alert others, kinda like sos warning (each member rotates saying emergency emergency once in the song). the color scheme is kind of similar and the members are all alone and being kidnapped(by the nightmare curse of some spider spirit originally caused by yoohyeon killing the spider in fly high). but by blowing the piri they are able to find each other and break the mirror(trapping them) at the end to finally unite in the final scene. well there's a lot more but this comment is already long enough lol.

Siyeon can be my dark knight anytime . I'm not a really huge fan of japaneese release from k-pop group , but this one and I miss you , i love them .

Nice reaction, this is one of my favorite Dreamcatcher songs. Wish they had been able to promote it more than just having the MV. There actually is a live performance from (I think?) their Japanese fan concert.. they thankfully did do a dance practice video for Breaking out on their channel, always good to check out on your own time

You still have 2 more official releases from them that you missed out, Full Moon and Over the Sky. Both are songs dedicated to their fans (inSomnia) for their 1st and 2nd anniversary respectively. Both have choreo to it. If you not aware, I Miss You also have a choreo ver, you might want to check it out.

The intro and outro on this album might be be even better than the songs imo lmao tho My Way is a fave for me i guess esp the Outro! sounds like something which could have been in Bloodborne i really rec checking them out ~
