Deja Vu is nothing short of a masterpiece. It is a beautiful, fragile ballad that kicks your teeth down your throat in the chorus. It is extra difficult to sort out, because it tells the story from two perspectives. You know how even evil people think they are the good guys? This is reflected here. One perspective is Yoohyeon's, who gets corrupted right in the beginning. She thinks JiU is bad (does not want to share power) and backstabs her and kills, imprisons or banishes the other members so that she can rule alone. The other perspective is reality, where we can see JiU be kind to Yoohyeon, but she gets killed for it. It's not exactly a Deja Vu per definition, but I believe this is a commentary on the different perspectives people can have about the same event.

Dreamcatcher Deja Vu: The music video is no joke either. Clearly presenting a tragic story, the video depicts the seven members as rulers of a kingdom, with a struggle for power breaking out between JiU and Yoohyeon. The scenes between the two facing off are particularly powerful, with JiU pointing the end of a rapier at Yoohyeon, in control of her fate. She makes the decision not to execute Yoohyeon, who in turn makes the decision to stab JiU in the back and kill her. Scenes of the six girls appearing and disappearing alongside Yoohyeon, show her eventually left alone and lonely, sat atop a throne left in ruins. It’s also interesting to note that some of the choreography shots showing all seven members are set in a brightly lit room, with all of girls dressed in white, something we don’t often see with this group. The medieval themes and darker lighting used during the depictions of JiU and Yoohyeon’s struggle add another layer to the song. “Deja Vu” has a lot of different creative elements that the group hasn’t used before, but it’s executed in an astounding way.

After many many many listens/views of this mv, here is what i get from it ( wich is so cringe since it's my perception of it. ) The MV is about perception, deception and betrayals. Yooyheon sees Jiu as this selfish ruler who dosent want to share the trone with the rest of them, so the girls are planning to overthrow her. Then you see the switch / jiu's perception , (when she wears the pink dress) you see her drop the sword in front of Yooyheon showing that she is a kind and merciful ruler since she is sparing Yooyheon's life even tho she plotted against her. But then Yooyheon picks up the sword to stab Jiu in the back and take her place on the trone. This symbolizes that no matter what you do you are always victim of other's perception of you. Because she was perceived as the selfish ruler, they wanted to overthrow her, but when she spares the life of the people plotting against her she is perceived as weak and still gets overthrown for it. At the end you see Yooyheon sitting on the trone alone realizing that its a lonely place to be ( everyone around her is gone , could be because they know what she did to get there also, or think she did , yet again perception meaning ) This MV and song are nothing short of a literal masterpiece.
