Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐) Covers REACTION [Overdose, Rockabye, Oh My God]

Intended or not, lots of ladies that are into ladies latched on to Oh My God because of that "she took me to the sky/ she showed me all the stars" part from a female writer and performers. I think approximately no Somnia were surprised to see this from Yoohyeon. Red Velvet's Irene and Seulgi did a song called Monster that Yoohyeon covered with JiU, if you can handle it 😂. Also, no spoilers but considering this you may not even stay in your seat when Dami and Yoohyeon do Baby Don't Stop.

Dami and Yoohyeon are already a study in Gay Panic on their own, but when they do covers together it's a double whammy and they just unlock each other's BDE. 'Oh My God' is just one example; 'Don't Stop,' where they covered during one of their online concerts, and 'NDA,' which also has a Special Clip are a couple more. Your reaction is quite normal, lol.

My memory is crap, I can't remember if you have ever seen the original version of 'Oh My God' by (G)I-DLE. It does not seem that you have seen or heard the original. I highly advise that one as a reaction video because (G)I-DLE is another group that absolutely cannot be taken for granted. The Leader of (G)I-DLE is Jeon Soyeon. She basically grew up in the underground diss rap scene and was in a Pro Competition where everybody else was several years older than her, when she was 17 and still in High School. She gained notoriety for her quick wit because that world was all free-styling off-the-top-of-the-head diss rapping. She wrote some rap as well but the entire idea was 'What can you come up with on the spot?' She absolutely DESTROYED people. They were all scared of her, literally BIGGER and OLDER people called her 'Scary Unnie'. THEN, while in training and while in competition shows, she was also revealed as a very talented Vocalist (but her first love is Rap). She Raps, she Sings, she Writes, she Composes, she Leads. She's a GENIUS. You'll see it when you get around to (G)I-DLE. There are currently five members in (G)I-DLE and some of them also write or produce. I LOVE that group and as somebody who followed them before disaster struck, I love to say OT6!

As a slightly OCD person, I always like to start reactors from the beginning of the story instead of in the middle; 'Oh My God' is definitely NOT the beginning. So to begin, I suggest (G)I-DLE's debut song 'Latata'. But they also have some other pre-debut stuff if you are interested. :)

Siyeon's choice for the final round was a major factor in why she lost in V1. While she is competitive she focusses more on performing for herself and hasn't really enjoyed these kind of competitions since her time at mixnine and she wanted to sing the song because it was her favorite. The girl who won is another beast of a vocalist honestly and blew people away with her vocals with her final round performance. And while I do agree her voice fits rock quite a lot considering she is the only kpop idol who uses rock vocal techniques she really shines in jazzy and delicate songs. You can compare her vocals on shatter to bon voyage to jazz bar or her cover of propose and she sounds like a conpletely different vocalist with a completely different style.

One reason among many why I love Dreamcatcher is that they do whet they love to do and they do it THEIR way. It can only get better than that in just ONCE way, which would be for the closed-minded jerks to fall from power in the Entertainment industry. These ladies are World-Class in their area but have been held back because of the WANTS of the wealthy at the top of the industry, not because of any lack on the part of the ladies themselves. They really should be on top of the world by now, that should have happened for them several years ago. Instead they got snubbed, targeted, bullied and even sabotaged.

I'm glad you decided to watch all 3 of Siyeon's performances from V1 ❤ She took 2nd place. The 1st place winner was that girl who gave the "stank face of approval" as I believe you called it lol. She is Yeonjung of WJSN (Cosmic Girls). I personally think Siyeon should have won, but you could see people in the audience who were clearly enjoying the performance but not pushing their button (so sus if you ask me). These types of shows have been suspected of biasing against some idols (all alleged and I'm not saying that's what happened here, but it's sus!). The 101 voters were people from various Korean industries (music, fashion, etc), basically celebrities. Siyeon got the most votes in round 2 for her Overdose cover but in the 3rd round she lost 58-41.
