There was a Variety Show the group was on years ago. The hosts asked who could go highest between all the members. EVERYBODY pointed at SuA immediately. The hosts were a little shocked, like 'how could Siyeon be the Main Vocalist if SuA could go higher?'. Anyway, there was an impromptu competition and Siyeon bowed out relatively early; she knew how this would go, just like all the other members (and being smart about it, she did not want to harm herself trying to do this without having warmed up properly). The competition went several rounds after Siyeon quit. SuA and Dami traded off attempts several times before Dami finally could not keep up with SuA. Remember what SuA's laugh is like? She ACCIDENTALLY hits those notes just by laughing, totally un-planned. Dami came in Second Place out of all Seven members. Even if Dami can't hit SuA's Dolphin-calling highs (but came very close), nobody else in the group (including Siyeon) can hit the same lows that Dami can. That proves that she has (or at least at the time, had) the greatest vocal range in the group. If you have not yet reacted to Dami's cover of 'Rockabye', I highly suggest that. She really is an Angel for more than just vocal abilities.

Ahhh yes the dolphin laugh, forgot about that!! Rockabye is on my list!! I was thinking of doing a reaction video of covers next

Dami has the voice of an Angel. Her singing voice is so good. And she and Siyeon shine together in the slow version. Shadow honestly so overlooked by the fandom, because it is not a Dreamcatcher song, just an OST. Just like SuA's OST (Still With You), which is also really cool. It is a little more traditional, but her vocal also really giod. Also the way you say Bon Voyage is so effing cute. ^^

Yep! Dami has an incredibly wide range. I don't think you've gotten to her deepest rap vocal tone yet, and I also don't think you've gotten to songs where she stays in her VERY high range using her head voice. She can almost beat SuA at that "Hello Cleopatra" game. 😂 Not to mention, she has like a million different ways that she uses her voice lol she's always full of surprises. ALWAYS!

the lyric video is real yes and shadow is ost for a series called dark hole its interesting show tbh i havent seen all i saw some of season 1 and i liked it but didnt have time to finish it and havent really picked it up again. btw Dami has incredible range cause she can go lowest in the group and 2nd highest after Sua whit Siyeon in 3rd

Dami in Simple Kpop reached the highest note after Sua. Siyeon said before they do it, you must think that because I'm the main vocal I reach the highest note but it's not, Sua is the one who reachs. Sua can do whatever she wants with her voice, Dami always surprises, it's not just rap, she has a beautiful voice, Siyeon's voice is from another planet, In Dreamcatcher everyone has incredible voices. SuA reaches the highest note, Siyeon *sings* the highest with belts and runs. SuA is working on catching up though between Oort Cloud, No Dot, and Bon Voyage.

Everyone is so stunned with Siyeon's breathieness to belting and Dami high note they never notice where Siyeon kind of Rick Rolls you. Bon Voyage was the first time you really paid attention and let the Dreamcatcher sink in, right? I think a lot of Insomnia are tied to their first that way. I wwas aware of them during Scream but Boca comeback was the first time I really paid attention and now it's unthinkable for myself to have a Dreamcatcher playlist that doesn't start with Boca.

Just curious if you already knew 2yoo (Yoohyeon and Dami) covered Baby Don't Stop by NCT U, speaking of Dami surprises. Dami and Siyeon did a cover of Ping Pong together. Dami and SuA special clip of their Havana cover (remember, Choreographed by SuA IS the warning).

Some of the most popular covers I've noticed: Bang Bang Bang (BigBang, Dami wrote the intro rap), Yoohyeon - Secret Love Song (Little Mix), SuA - Copycat (Billy Eilish, sung and choreographed by SuA), Yaja Time (Yoohyeon leader, Siyeon main rapper, SuA maknae) - Really Really (Seventeen).

@@alexatakesalook Oh, and if you watch the cover of Switch to Me by JiU and SuA you'll see something we've never seen anywhere else in seven years of Dreamcatcher. Tossing out some of my favorite covers to give you ideas for your list: SuA Siyeon Yoohyeon-What to Do and SuA Siyeon-OortCloud (cute), Siyeon-Faded (Siyeon wowness), Yoohyeon and Dami-Mood (hilarious but still somehow sexy), Yoohyeon-Touch (blindingly sexy), Taki Taki Dance Cover (have holy water and medical personnel on standby). If dance covers count for your video one of the most iconic Dreamcatcher clips of all time is their Abracadabra (Brown-Eyed Girls) relay dance. People call it sexy or gay AF, but to me it always seemed like they were just in a really good mood that day and in the moment the Dreamcatcherness got turned up to 11. Don't get me wrong they knew exactly what they were doing, but they were also smiling and cracking up the whole time.

I fully and wholeheartedly support the usage of Damni to properly describe Dami's unbelievable vocal talent. Among other unbelievable things she casually just does in concerts and videos, consistently.
