I've heard other Dreamcatcher songs in the past and while I liked them, none of them shook me as much as this release. I'm genuinely obsessed. In my top 5 songs of the year, at least. Maybe even higher.

About the apple of temptation: In OOTD and before this comeback we had a lot of lore coming from ymenehcra. It is said that the crown makes people obssesed with it, to the point where you lose your mind and to the point of hurting people mindlessly to reach the crown. The reason for this is because the crown is said to give you EVERYTHING, and I think that is a comparison to how people hurt other people just to chase a higher status or position. I know you'll react to the dancEAR performance, I would also recommend watching the Justice showcase because since Siyeon is not participating in the promotions, Handong and SuA are covering her parts

dreamcatcher \:D/ one can interpret the them as excess vs simplicity. ootd showed a lot of excess and people chasing it as symbolized by the crown. as you noted here in justice, everything is very simple - almost the entire mv was shot in the same set using old school analog effects. the outro scene is a cassette tape being played which is taking you way back to a simpler time.

If you want to do rock music you must use real instruments or at least used a very similar sound to have an impact. Unfortunately many kpop group that try rock doesn't understand this and only use samples or sound produced from software, and that's why it's not sounded as good as it could be One of the reason I liked DC music is the producers understand this. They create the sound themselves since they can also play instruments and knew what real rock sounds should be in a song
