A bit of context for that performance of Always. This was the showcase/mini concert for Maison and it was the first time since the covid restrictions were put into place that they got to perform in front of Insomnia. You'll notice that the audience is only clapping because loud cheering was still prohibited. This was also the first time they got to see their lightsticks fill the crowd because their lightstick came out during the pandemic. So, the minute the lights went up and they could see InSomnia both Siyeon and Jiu instantly started crying while the rest of them were visibly emotional. Maison Era is really so special. 🥺

That performance will "Always" be special to all of us. The very first performance live in front of InSomnia after years of only being able to see us through screens and singing to empty venues. First time seeing Mongmongie. Then follow that up with a first win not even 1 week later, after YEARS of nominations and 2nd place finishes. Maison will forever be a special era for all of us.

That always performance was the the first live performance they had since Covid, and Siyeon, Jiu, and Sua got emotional when they saw their fans that they havent seen the past years since covid started. Jiu gets emotional just about every concert when they was on tour and it was time to say bye. You would see tears while shes smiling and waving ❤.

Starlight live is perfection. Also, by now I'm sure you've heard Fairytale and Jesus Christ, they sang it in March and Siyeon just standing there singing those angelic high notes was otherworldly. Can you imagine Siyeon going off singing some Mariah Carey or something?

There's basically a law of nature that says if Dreamcatcher cries then I will too. I remember watching that mini concert at I think 5am and Always was the first song they performed and the first song I heard from the album and I definitely cried then, just as I did again now 😭 Also, being able to see Starlight live is definitely something I would consider one of my most notable life achievements😁

I woke up at 4am to watch that and that was their first song.... I was balling my eyes out when I noticed JiU holding back every time the camera was on her. I was like, "It's okay JiU, I'll cry for you." I had work in 3 hours but I was NOT missing that "mini" concert.

I really love Dreamcatcher's ballads although they seem to be pretty unpopular or underrated among most insomnias, but I mean I get it, everyone has different tastes. Personally I enjoy them a lot, i think in these type of songs we get to appreciate more their vocals, and to me DC having a ballad in every album since debut seem more like a tradition, a trademark of their albums. I really love it.

I dont know if anyone has told you or not but those hand mics they use for their own concerts were a gift from Insomnia's I belive there is an insomnicy video about it. Thats why each one has a different color and they use it as much as they can.

@@roguereacts Speaking of love to see it - I feel like I've seen enough of your reactions now to gauge your taste, and I believe our taste is pretty similar - so, I feel confident in saying that I think you'd probably enjoy the song Wild Side by Red Velvet (it's a Japanese track so like if you wanna do a react, probably cover it bc idk how well that goes? But I would say to check it out just when you have some time bc you have been cranking them out and sometimes it's just nice to bop with your animals in peace lol), and pretty much anything of Chung Ha's, if you haven't heard them already. I always have fun seeing dreamcatcher videos. the only times I crying is that Always first performance after covid restriction and Dreamcatcher Mind eps 6 (which still up until now I still can't hold tears for watching it). based on your list, Dreamcatcher Mind seems like only will be on Patreon (and I don't use nor having account there). few channels on youtube didn't even post the eps 6 bcs probably that made them cry so bad that theyre not confident to post. I don't wanna spoil any further, but keep going on choosing your bias(es), Rogue (tbh I'm having all Kims as biases but I love all of them, just having them 3 slightly above)

I suggest you don't do It's Live version for the next title track VISION, the band didn't do justice for the song. But the band in their concert (the same of Locked Inside a Door and Starlight in this video) did amazing. Maison in that concert was so much better also.
