“Whistle” is truly a beautiful song. Unfortunately, it was somewhat forgotten at the time, like “Starlight” before it and more recently “Fairytale”. All 3 songs are on the same somewhat moderate “alternative” level. And all 3 songs don't have an official MV - only "Fairytale" has a "special clip" that hardly gets noticed (OMG - I love "Fairytale"). That could also be THE reason for the ignorance of these songs. Every now and then these songs appear in live concerts, but... whatever. It's such a shame that these beautiful B-site songs only find a few listeners. And - thank you very much for your very nice and professional reactions.

Alldaylong was written by JiU. She has openly said it's a love song inspired by Yoohyeon.

The killing part of Sunflower is right at the end and only Korean speakers will get it right away. The last line ends abruptly because the listener is expecting the song to end with a repeat of joa (it's ok) from Jiu's last line, but Yoohyeon doesn't say it. There's an empty space. That drives home the point that the singer is willing to wait forever for their lost love to return, even if they never do. That makes the song even sadder.

I forget if you have watched it or not, but now you've heard all the h originals, you can add Handongs chinese "medley" of heart of a sunflower, polaris, jazz bar, and daydream. She translated them herself ~ Whistle is one of my favorite tracks

20:28 That's Hwang Sooyeon, DC's Performance Director and main choreographer. She's a strong contender for the title of "8th member of DC". 3 cool videos on her are "party time with SuA and Hwang Sooyeon" and her 2 explanation videos on Vision and Scream.

"Whistle" is really really good. And with choreography... that would be a deadly song.💀 And this "A Heart of Sunflower" live is one of my favorite performance...it can listen to their vocals very clear.

As I said a great album which is so much fun. Alldaylong reminds me of the American Funk Group Cameo from the 80s. I just watched a 12 minute live clip of Cameo on YT playing live on the UK Show The Tube in 1983. The intensity on the first song is immense. I also loved their dances too. Worth a watch if of interest.

I feel like Soyeon (I believe that's their choreographer's name. Heard she's debuting soon as a soloist!) came into the practice room high off 20 red bulls and came up with the "Whistle" choreo. 😅 incredible

Other groups would put Airplane or Whistle as the title, but no, this is Dreamcatcher, let's put horror song as title. at this point, after many albums, i say the producers are geniuses, really. it is hard to put out songs that is different from before but still has the group element in it. i love Dreamcatcher.

Been on a binge watch enjoying your content all the way from Australia mate, simply because you look about same age as me and it's always enjoyable watching another guy get into Kpop haha. Just out of curiosity how did you get exposed to Kpop? I'd probably be one the last guys on the planet to be into it, but after getting introduced to it by a work mate at a work party I'm now in the rabbit hole. Just mind blown!

Haha amazing stuff. I'm still mind blown away by how popular it has become amongst people of all ages and right across the world. My nieces are really into it and even showed me videos of people right across the world, especially right across Europe and South America getting really involved into doing cover dances and participating in what they call Random Play Dances where they dance the chorus of various songs. My initial thought was only people in Asia listened to it so I was a bit apprehensive, but as I dug into more groups and songs, the comment section are just full of English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Then I followed their stories and it's just incredible how crafted these idols are to be able to dance, sing and rap in multiple languages. Mind blown.... Enjoy the rabbit hole lad! BEcause choreo really should've won an award or something, it's so good. It's highlight after highlight non-stop. So many unique moves and formations. The first dancer they called out at the end of Airplane was again Sooyeon, their choreographer.
