Some fans keep on saying that dc hated or they were traumatized by minx era but I never heard them say any of that. I think dami and others just found love shake cringe because of the cutesy styling and lyrics but hated or traumatized by minx as a whole? I don't think so. Siyeon just felt sad because of the failure. As far as I remember, they loved performing wdyctmh and action. There's even a minx ballad that some of them still sing in their lives from time to time. Been following them since they were minx.

I agree 💯 Some fans do not realize that Jiu and Siyeon have been roommates for 11 years, and Dami was their roommate at some point and they have a poster of Minx in their room. Minx was a difficult time for sure, but traumatic? If it was traumatic as some fans believe, they wouldn't have the poster to remind them everyday.

I'm so glad they decided to do this. Maybe it will finally put to rest the rumors that the members were suffering from some Kind of PTSD because of Minx. Sure, there was a rough patch between Minx's disbandment and Dreamcatcher's debut, as expected, but it wasn't like they suffered irreparable emotional damage from it. They bounced back fairly quickly. Gahyeon and Handong often tease the other members and joke about Minx and you know they wouldn't do that if they thought it would really hurt them. JiU even has a Minx poster in her bedroom at the dorm. As we've seen in numerous videos they all laugh and joke about it. There's even video of Siyeon from their Fly High era, in her Fly High outfit, singing and joking about a minx song. Even in this video we see Siyeon randomly singing a Minx song. Yes, some members cringe every time someone mentioned Minx, but believe that's mostly out of embarrassment because of the hyper cute concept than anything else. So, yeah, can we now stop making it sound like our girls suffered years of immense emotional pain and suffering because of Minx's disbandment? If you pay attention and cut through all the drama, you can see our girls are much stronger than that. They, for the most part, outside of the cringe factor, bounced fairly quickly. Thank you for another great video. Keep up the amazing work you do promoting Dreamcatcher. I'm sure all InSomnia greatly appreciate your work.

@@electrictroy2010 Yeah, they literally announced the disbandment of Minx and the rebranding to Dreamcatcher on the same say. I believe they broke the news to the members the same way as well. As you say, there was basically no down time. Not to say that there wasn't any uncertainty during that period. It was an entirely new concept with a genre that wasn't very popular in South Korea and they had already failed once. But, like I said, they recovered fairly quickly, once DC started gaining momentum.
