There is a funny story about the re-debut. When Minx failed, the CEO of their company said in an interview that it wasn't the fault of the girls, it was the company's fault. Later, he also said that if Dreamcatcher would fail as well, he would become a cucumber farmer to support the girls. As far as I know, that is a first in Kpop history. Long comment incoming lol but tried to answer as many things as I could. 2:56 You said Handong and Gahyeon correct there. Dami is easy enough, SuA (soo-ah) also kinda speaks for itself, JiU is "jee-you" (or gee-you if you will). The letter i is usually pronounced "ee". When there's an S in front of an i, it becomes "sh", so Siyeon is "she-yeon". And Yoohyeon.. Yoohyeon seems to give people the most trouble. Yoo-hyeon, 2 syllables (like most Korean names), for beginners I might say try to ignore the H and see how it sounds. You technically do pronounce the H, but that might help you get closer. Similarly, it's also Ga-hyeon (not Gah-yeon) you actually pronounce the H at the start of the syllable, but it's kinda difficult to get when you're not used to it. (You got to hear this name more later on and also got it right there) 4:10 yes that was Dami 6:50 and yes, Dami again 😊 10:40 "what kinda laugh was that" welp that's SuA for you 😂 12:32 "I'm guessing she's the serious one" You couldn't have been more wrong 😅 15:03 That was from an episode of "Dreamcatcher Mind", a reality/variety show they did. They did very different stuff each episode (some activities were stretched across 2 episodes, like the horror episode that clip was from). She's probably one of the most powerful vocalists in K-pop at the moment, and I don't just say that because I'm a Dreamcatcher fan. 17:50 It's an edit in the sense that their clothes didn't magically change, but it was aired like that originally, it's very cool. If you want to see more on their bonds, the KZbin channel Insomnicsy has a lot of great Dreamcatcher videos (maybe the best Dreamcatcher fan channel there is, most fans would agree) and they have a series of videos that are just clips highlighting the chemistry between 2 members. The Tom & Jerry thing is also funny btw because it's mostly SuA terrorising Yoohyeon, and SuA is tiny and Yoohyeon is the tallest :p btw "maknae" (mahk-nay) literally means the youngest sibling, or in the case of K-pop groups the youngest member. It's a title that kinda means all the older ones take care of the maknae, but the dynamic can vary depending on the person. The maknae is also often expected to be "cute", but they can also be "boss babies" lol Age hierarchy is just very important in Korean culture overall, even with people close in age. As long as you're born in the same year, you're considered the same age, but as soon as someone is born a year before you, you're supposed to address them in formal speech, and the younger girls call older girls "unnie" (literally "big sister" but is also used within friend groups). You know BLACKPINK better by now, you may have also noticed they all call Jisoo "unnie" or "Jisoo-unnie" (this is especially done in cases where it wouldn't be clear if they're referring to Jisoo or Jennie) most of the time, but since Rosé was born in the same year as Lisa, Lisa doesn't have to call her unnie, even though Lisa is technically the maknae. 46:35 Drinking alcohol often becomes more accepted when all the members of a group are above a certain age. I think the legal age to drink in South Korea is 19, and Gahyeon (the youngest) is 23 now, and with Dreamcatcher's company being pretty chill in general, Dreamcatcher don't tend to be shy about their drinking. Dami doesn't really drink alcohol though. As a group, they still don't take things too far of course, but from idol groups I know, Dreamcatcher seem to be one of the more open ones when it comes to alcohol (as well as other things like tattoos for example; Siyeon, Yoohyeon and Dami all have tattoos and aren't afraid to show them). BLACKPINK's company for example is very strict in comparison, I've heard the members aren't allowed to drink alcohol or get tattoos (though this was a few years ago so I don't know if anything has changed). There were a few clips of Wind Blows, that's definitely a great b-side, the "play color" performance video for that is very good. 12:32 Oh lord, Sua the serious one 😅😅 She is kinda the "mom" of Dreamcatcher so sometimes she can be serious/strict but 95% of the time she's the goofiest and funniest idol in the whole industry. Pronounciations of all names: -JiU (Gee-You) -SuA (Sue-Ah) -Siyeon (Shee-yun. Kind of like the end of onion that "yun" sound) -HanDong (actually pronounced it right) -YooHyeon (You-hyun, like Siyeon, the hyeon sound is like the end of "onion", but instead of the "yun" sound, just add an "h" sound in front of the "y", i wont blame you in just saying it like "yoo-yun" a lot of foreigners have trouble saying it with the "h") -Dami (pronounced it right) -GaHyeon (same as yoohyeon, just with a "gah" ) I do applaud your efforts in trying to pronounce their names though

ok i will try to explain how the names are said in a way that resemble english words or letters (this is an experiment please dont hate) JiU - Gee-U SuA - Zoo-Ah Siyeon - She-Yeon Handong - Handong (sometimes called Dongie) Yoohyeon - You-Yeon Dami - Dami Gahyeon - Gah-yeon hope this helps and also you cant go wrong whit any of their songs but they did realease a new fan song on the 13th their anniversary called REASON its really good you should check it out edit: also the "this is series" from the channel Insomnicsy is really good to get to know the members indivudualy you basically search up this is *members name* they have a 2020,2021 and 2022 edition and they dont overlap in content so they are all different they are 7 mintues long each Insomnicsy is a Insomnia (fandom name) tresure she has so much DC content you wont run out of things to react too :D
