I think the L20 gets the job done very well. And as for the carpet mopping issues, just set it to where it'll just raise the pads. The raising might be better for both of them. They mop the edges of the carpet.

You can pick off the little top on the proprietary detergent box on the Dreame L20 with an small screwdriver and use exactly same detergent that come in a bigger volumed bottles. So this shouldn't be an minus for the older L20 or other Dreame robots with same proprietary detergent box. And can you be 100% sure the detergent will be poured into the water tank on the Dreame robots? Some say this is only possible for cleaning of the mops in the dock. So not for the floors. Can you confirm whats correct? Thanks. And thanks for the review.

Have you tried the robots on dark floors? Aren’t the rotating round mops leaving visible circles on dark wood? I had a robot with rotating mop heads a long time ago and it was useless cleaning my mahogany wood floors as they were then covered in circular marks left by the robot. I wonder if the new mopping robots do exactly the same thing to dark wood floors..?
