Thanks for visiting Dreame too! Thanks to you we have more information about the arm technology. I'm curious what the other brands will show. We'll keep following you!

I genuinely love the trend towards arms. Having a larger unit that is able to push a thinner attachment under low couches opens up so much for integrated tanks and battery

next step: retractable propellers that carry the robot from one floor to another 😅

As expected the robot vaccum market is revolutionising as expected. It is the most demanding home essentials for every house and this thing should climb stairs remove obstacles as needed. Self cleaning and ofcourse a plastic dust bag instead instead on one time use fabric bags which can be reused many times as possible.

Got to make it go up and down stairs
@Cmi126717 күн бұрын
that's not possible. you would need to make it into a drone type

Most of them will go down stairs.

I own the x50 and the threshold climb has been useless for me. Keep in mind the climbing feature was probably designed for homes in China. Bathrooms and kitchens seem to have higher thresholds between rooms to contain floods I assume. My balcony has quite a height difference between both sides of the threshold. My x50 can cross the threshold to enter the balcony but cannot leave the due to the greater height from the balcony side. Again this design is meant to contain floods since my balcony has my washing machine which is common in China. Depending on the design of the home, this feature may be a great benefit but not for me. Other than that, the dual brush feature has been amazing and I never had any tangle issues since owning it.

Come get me when it can go up stairs, not when it can just climb over a spoon on the floor. Interesting to see the progress though.

yeah its not stairs, but its already helpful it can gap changes in floor heights between rooms.

Maybe by next year they will be climbing stairs if there is a market for this kind of feature. It seems like it would be a pretty difficult problem to solve.

Who cleans the attachments? Climbing 4-6cm has some usage for some but until it can climb and clean stairs it won't benefit most

After the eufy s1 pro, I will never get anything that doesn’t have a mop roller that cleans itself as it mops, everything else just drags a dirty pad around the house. Very surprised to see that these new bots haven’t updated their mops
@BOSS-jr2sd17 күн бұрын
yh eufy 1 pro is amazing for mopping but too bad it doesnt have a side brush. Any robot that cant clean corners well might as well be garbage as most dirt and hair accumulate in corners. If eufy had that and could mop corners well it would be game changing but until then its garbage

Some have moved to mop rollers. We will have an overview video next week showing the new products from different manufacturers.

How does he just kind of skip by the clutter thing? A clutter cleaning robot that works would be the pinnacle of AI. Just recognizing what clutter is, is near or at human intelligence. They must send pictures back home and have humans identify things.
@vacuumnerds16 күн бұрын
AI image identification relies on large numbers of training images. Google has been doing this for a long time, and the technology is filtering down to home robots now
@john58ford17 күн бұрын
This robot just climbs over permanently installed tripping hazards. I can't think of an actual use case in 99% of homes sadly.
