I live in a condo, with people above and below me, so I have a 75 inch tv, with just a 5.1 vizio surround sound system. . I cannot wait for the day that I can have something of this caliber.

I live in a flat (one story) condo as well, and unfortunately (for my neighbors) do not care how they feel about HT. The HOA told them that they made a choice and couldn't interfere with my constitutional right to enjoy my property. It led to 5.2.2 setup.
@BigDavos2 жыл бұрын
TBH I like in an apartment with a 5.1 Klipsch system and a 10 inch Klipsch subwoofer. Since u allready have a vizio soundbar (I had one before myself) your neighbors should be used to some bass. I would go ahead and start building a system and just keep the gain dialed down on your sub.

I have this projector and purchased the same mount. Swapped it out as I was worried about the sag and plastic arms breaking damaging my expensive projector. Based on the specs the RS-2000 is at max weight for this mount.

Question for Chris. Why do you like to set the strong mount bracket in the direction where the arrows are pointing to the back of the projector?
@trevor53332 жыл бұрын
You guys do some neat theatres but I have to say, if your LCR speakers are behind the screen you are either sitting to close to the screen or sitting at the recommended thx distance and sacrificing channel separation on the L and R channels. All based on the recommend 45deg viewing angle and 60deg LR channel separation

My efficiency studio apartment is 20x10, perfect for my venue projector Mitsubishi UD8400U. Lens is zoomed all the way out, nearly covering the entire wall with perhaps 10 inches to spare on each side. Anyway, I don't know what to get for a projector screen big enough for this, I am guessing the image is around 160" or more. It also needs to be easily transportable for when it's time to move after the lease

The reason they make the screws with the special allen wrench hole is to make it tamper proof. It's purpose is to try to deter people from stealing the projector.

so easy in the US and Canada. Here in Europe we have most concrete walls or ceilings, wich makes it impossible to build the speakers into thee wall. We have to build an inner wooden wall, just like they did with the screen.

Can’t wait to see the next video in this series... the led is going to look sick behind the screen. What was the customers deciding factor on the 16x9 ratio vs 2.35:1 screen? Ive been researching my next screen for the new space & not many options for ACT & Widescreen. Side question.. THTD, do you guys sell OEM replacement bulbs? I have over 2200 hours (all on high lamp) on my Sony vpl-vw285es and i feel like the image is getting a little dim & i noticed some intermittent flickering.

So much overkill and labor cost to build speaker boxes inside of that shadow box for in wall speakers. Why not just put regular speakers mounted on the wall in the shadow Box, lol. Those low profile on wall speakers would have worked perfectly. People with money will pay for anything lol.
@everythingburrito18973 жыл бұрын
Well if you can why not pay for it. If they don’t mind then I don’t think he does haha.
@bflogeno123 жыл бұрын
@@everythingburrito1897 my question was rhetorical and you basically repeated what I said in my last sentence. It is irrefutable that building speaker boxes for inwall speakers inside of a shadow Box was unnecessary and there would have been a much simpler solution.
