Like the winnebago travato 5g but with a smaller fridge. Favorite layout for 1 person. A couple would be tight.

Personally I like carpet with a thick underlay, more warm, cozy, comfortable and sound absorbing.

That first one was nice and compact, but had everything that the bigger one's had.

Having driven and owned both 6m and 5.4m Fiat/Peugeot Campers, I find the 5.4m vans much easier as a daily driver. The 5.4m vans are a joy to drive everywhere. The 6m is a bit too long for sole use.

is there any tour for campervan that fit for Southeast asia people?

As south east Asian people tend not to be tall, then I don't think they are faced with any challenges in RVs.

With the size of the global campervan market you'd think that one of the big vehicle manufacturers would release a box van with a bit more width for easier camper conversions. The Ducato/Transit/Master/Crafter/Sprinter vans are all about 1.8m wide internally which is just that little bit too narrow for an east/west bed configuration (unless you're a shorty). Once you get the east/west bed sorted it makes it a lot easier to squeeze everything else into a smaller length vehicle, and therefore would be extremely popular.
@VanlifewithAlan4 жыл бұрын
I can understand why they don't. As big as the RV market is, it would be too costly to implement specialised vehicles. The best way is for a converter to buy the chassis and engine and make a motorhome!
@gooble694 жыл бұрын
@@VanlifewithAlan I'm thinking about the market of DIY, and small shop campervan makers which don't have the resources to build a customised motorhomes over a cab chassis. ie a fitout of a box van is a lot easier than a full vehicle build. I'd also think that a wider box van would appeal to the tradesmen since they can fit more in it so it wouldn't have to be so specialised, just push out the dimensions of the current models by 20-30cm and you're done. Maybe there's a regulatory reason why standard vans aren't any wider than they are?
