This discussion between a mother and a doctor/psychiatrist was written when I was 15 years old. What inspired me was hearing about autism. Little did I know at the time that I have autism too. As for the lyrics, I wasn't trying to imply that autism is a "sickness", but that the boy i'm singing about was so poorly with human communication that he wouldn't be able to tell anyone if he were sick. You never know where things might end up if you put them on KZbin, so I just wanted to add that.
Lyrics:
Look at him, he's a dreamer
Staring straight ahead
Do you know what he's thinking?
What is going on in his head.
Look at him, he is flying,
he is simply not here.
He is now in his own world,
far away from pain and fear.
Someone tell me why he won't speak to me.
Someone tell me why he's not here.
Someone tell me why he can't hear me.
Tell me where did he go, oh no,
tell me where did he go.
Look at him, he is dancing
dancing while he sits down.
Listen up, he is singing,
but no words come out of his mouth.
Look at him, does he feel sick?
Why won't he tell us himself?
I know he can, 'cause I heard him
yesterday, screaming like hell.
Someone tell me why he won't speak to me.
Someone tell me why he's not here.
Someone tell me why he can't hear me.
Tell me where did he go, oh no,
tell me where did he go.
