On 16-17th Feb 2023, the 70th Annual Sports Day was organized by St. Anthony’s School, Chandannagar; 16th Feb was allotted for the primary section (Class I-IV).
Students of class I & II presented a marvelous performance, representing the FIFA World Cup 2022 theme. The entire event was wonderfully designed by the teachers and seniors, incorporating children's activities, perfect music, soccer highlights, and motivational speeches. On the other hand, the little performers fulfilled the incentives with their outstanding on-stage performance!
After the initial performance, a glimpse of the soccer WC Final Match (Argentina vs France) and after-match presentation ceremony were presented on the field, which was simply awesome!
However, the most creative part came afterward, when the whole group exhibited a perfect way to connect the emotions of sports to real-life motivations! An awesome motivational speech played at the backdrop explaining the definitions of dream, dreamers, achievements, and their deep connections.
Undoubtfully, this very special part represented the thematic interest of the whole event, contributing a valuable essence:
"Nobody is born great; great personalities are ordinary people with extraordinary determination. If you can dream big, you can achieve it; you have to believe in your dream to achieve it. You have to stay determined to achieve it."
Being a student of class-I in St. Anthony's High School, Prachi (Saptaparna Das) also took part in this event. Unfortunately, her parent's camera failed to capture Prachi due to her back-line appearance and unfavorable angles. After watching this video, initially, she was very upset as she couldn't find herself in action, but her parents taught her the same lessons of success:
"If you want to be a front-liner and if you want to see yourself in action, then dream of it, try hard, try even harder if failed, keep the faith alive, and see the result. All the men and women in action are dreamers. You can also become one of them if you can dream big and take action…"
