I guess all those missed accolades, not playing defense and losing championships was deliberate if one just takes his words at face value XD. His comment of "at the end of the day, it's just basketball" after this years playoff shows the amount of commitment and drive he has towards winning. Not really sad because over the years, his performance & comments has does wonder for his claim to being the supposed "Goat" XD. Clearly, LBJ doesn't want to beat other great's legacy with his winning; he prefers the easier route of beating them through the media off-court through KlutchSports (ie. his crutch).
