Will Saylor and Drew Matulich are gigging musicians here in the thriving Western North Carolina acoustic music scene, and both have played instrument demos for us here at Dream Guitars. We thought it would be fun (we were right!) to bring the two together for some tunes in our studio.
Check out the duo playing "Beaumont Rag", the traditional tune named after the town of Beaumont, Texas, and first recorded by Texas fiddler Samuel Morgan Peacock in 1929.
On the left, Drew is playing a "holy grail" 1923 Gibson F-5 Lloyd Loar mandolin (maple and spruce), and Will has a vintage 1938 Martin D-28 (Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack Spruce) in his hands. Both instruments are available at Dream Guitars at the time of publishing. Links in video and below.
Enjoy! Don't forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE--we'd appreciate it. Thank you!
