It is so weird I had a few mares I rode back in the day and they were angels, but the one gelding I had was a walking nightmare!

At the stables where I ride my favorite horse is a super sweet (if a bit skittish) mare, meanwhile I got bit on the thigh by a gelding only about a month ago xD

Yeahh! At my old barn they had two really sweet mares (because of them I want a mare) but the horse I lease rn is a gelding and if he doesn’t get his way he cranky as hell and bucks me off

Having a mare, I can relate😂 And also 1:40 bro what is that horse meant to do that’s not how you train a horse- (Edit tho, my mare is not as aggressive as these though, some of these mares need training)

1:39 I mean what do you expect the horse to do when you have something tied around your middle?

Yeah..mares have the wrong introduction iig, idk how to say it. My mare is the sweetest, my gelding on the other hand is a litteral devil.

Feel really bad for the boxed horses. I am so glad that my Gypsies can be outside and free on 80 acres day and night.

Mares get the wrong words put across. Almost every gelding I've met has been mean, the mares on the other hand just wanted to be all up in your space.

Okay so a some of the vids in here shows some of the mares trying to bite the owner, and to me thats a bad sign and a accident waiting to happen, and they aren't fixing it because they pin their ears and continue to try and bite the owner, now with me I DO NOT ALLOW my horses to BITE or nip at all and if they nip me I smack them. (Just saying I don't smack my horses hard the first time but if they keep trying to bite or nip I'll keep getting harder and harder until they understand not to do it)

...What in God's name are they doing in their training to let their mares act like this? In all my years of growing up around and working with horses, I have NEVER had a mare show aggression to me like this. They would show a reasonable amount of aggression in the herd, but generally comingled and stayed civil even when food was around. Is it a lack of training that turns them into this? My word, these mares would be in a foaming sweat if they ever DARED to act like this in my care.
