Very nice :) check out our van tour, Renault Trafic (so basically the same), be careful with width ways beds, ours only work as I put a little side seat which means I can lay diagonal - good luck with the build

I just got to work my month in hand didn't think they still did that!😡.. then I'm getting my first van so I might pinch a few ideas along the way although I can't build things to save my life but it's fun trying and aparently that's what counts 🤣. Be careful a common fault with these vans,are the window seal on the windscreen leaks water into the engine bay when it rains and can run onto the glow plugs, causing them too fail. Please check and have some great adventure. Tim ( Socks with Sandals) with be Jealous. Keep vids coming.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🚙⛺️

Well done upgrading to a dream van. Weekend working on it won't be too bad, as you will feel the pinch of the fuel prices travelling around. The summer season won't be cheap, whatever you do. Aim for a winter completion.

Get some ventilation, I slept in a sealed up van once and woke up feeling shit. I'd used up all the oxygen as I slept. Sticky back 3mm closed cell foam on the roof panels will stave off condensation too.

Wot a gem of a channel, I converted a transit connect into a day van for fishing and adventure trips back in 2017 and that gave me the taste of turning something with wheels into somewhere to stay, I however didn’t do it for a full vanlife style of living, its more of an asset for my hobbies, anyway that led me to doing something bigger that was a regular size transit, I still use it to this day, it owes me nothing now and gave me priceless memories, its here on KZbin, the fan issue might be of use to you, very simple, infact everything I did was simple 😂. It’s less to go wrong 🚐 Subbed 😊

Woohoo, so exciting! Congratulations. So many possibilities and of course so many decisions to be made too. One thing, make sure you get GOOD advice on insulation. I've watched so many KZbin van conversion vids where insulation materials (particularly reflectix) have been used incorrectly and ineffectively. But I'm definitely looking forward to following your progress. When are you coming to New Zealand?

seconded. If you want insulation done right, subscribe to the legend that it Greg Virgo and Mel's Big van world. they are quite literally the guru of all things "van conversion" I learned everything from their yutube channels
