I'm conflicted on DS using so much AI content/thumbnails. On the one hand those software companies stole tons of material from real artists for their algo. On the other hand the DS budget is probably better spent on paying teachers than hiring artists 🤷‍♂️🤔

All Tequila is Mezcal. Tequila is a style of mezcal made from a particular type of agave, in particular Mexican states. Mezcal is any sort of liquor made out of agave. So "tequila" would not have been a wrong answer, although it wasn't the best answer.

Águila es un sustantivo epiceno o sea solo tiene un género gramatical. La hembra y el macho son águila , águila macho y águila hembra.

Se dice el águila, no la águila. Sin embargo, se dice las águilas, no los águilas. Por lo tanto, no es gramaticalmente correcto decir los Águilas de Mexicali, sino las Águilas de Mexicali, aunque entiendo que los fanáticos de este equipo de béisbol están acostumbrados a llamarlos así.

Los sustantivos que comienzan por "a", no pueden ir acompañados por el determinante "la" incluso siendo femeninos. "Agua" y "águila" son sustantivos femeninos porque teminan en "a", pero deben ir igualmente acompañados por el determinante "el" (y no "la") porque comienzan por "a". De esta forma: EL águila blancA -> LAS águilas blancAS EL agua purA -> LAS aguas purAS El género de los sustantivos es el mismo, pero el hecho de que al empezar por "a" no puedan ir acompañadas por "la", hace pensar que el sustantivo es masculino en singular, pero no es así. Su género es femenino.

We need to start a NGO to rectify that situation. To not know for sure a torta from an enchilada from a (oh my God, how can this be?!) from a tamale -- That is the saddest thing I have thought of all year.

You are correct. Tequila (a type of mezcal) would not have been an incorrect answer, as it is a traditional Mexican liquor made out of agave -- a particular sort of agave, and it has to be made in specific Mexican states, IIRC. Can't remember how many there are.
