A really excellent book. I feel it was well rounded and provided a lot of data points that brought a holistic view of opioids (who, what, where, when, why, and how). 10/10

Oxy should be illegal, like heroin. Pain meds are needed, but the slow release meds like Oxy are causing the epidemic

there are instances where they are needed, but they should be tightly regulated. I know a guy who got a J pouch. he's in constant pain. his dr gives him whatever pain meds he wants. after the surgery they gave him fentanyl. he has access to it but doesn't request it or he won't be able to get work done. he takes quaaludes daily.

I am prescribed instant release, generic Oxycodone. It works well for my needs.
