Salvage Officer: (sighs) Resource Captain: What's the matter, kid? Salvage Officer: Look, sir. (aims lights, illuminates body floating in the debris) Resource Captain: Ouch. Yeah, that's explosive decompression for you. Salvage Officer: Fourteen. Resource Captain: Hm? Salvage Officer: I've been counting. This one's the fourteenth I've seen this mission alone. Resource Captain: What about in the remains of that Taiidan destroyer we picked apart? Surely there were more in that. Salvage Officer: Yes, and I counted all the ones I saw - but look at the outfit. This is the fourteenth corvette crew I've seen. Resource Captain: Hey... I think you're right. Sharp eye, kid. I've got to admit, Hiigaran uniforms all look the same to me. Salvage Officer: (focuses camera) Soban. It says his name was Soban. Or, that was his squadron? Resource Captain: What does it matter? He's dead. His side lost. We're just here to pick up the pieces. Salvage Officer: But-- Resource Captain: Look. The Flagship needs to refuel and resupply the fleet. Our own Hiigaran allies already left. Salvage Officer: Maybe they just didn't want to pick through this. Resource Captain: Or maybe they're scouting the next battle zone for us. Again, what does it matter? We've got a job to do. Salvage Officer: I... yes, sir. Resource Captain: Good lass. Now, see if you can pry that pulsar cannon out of the wreck so we can get going. (the captain leaves) (the officer stares at the body, then starts manipulating the salvage arms) Salvage Officer: (whispers) Sajuuk. Creator of all. Take pity on Soban. Guide him to his friends, already in your embrace...

@@Dreamlands15 Sorry... my birthday is coming up. Coincidentally, it's also the anniversary of my grandfather's funeral - where I had the honour of being one of his pallbearers. It's a melancholy time for me and that's coloured my writing, methinks. I still look for humour, and I really do want to repay the enjoyment your content gives me with these little shorts I write every time. I'm sorry they've been more serious as of late. I'll keep looking for my humour, I promise it hasn't gone far. Thank you for casting these games. I really do look forward to your videos :)

nice to see it back :) I have just boght new screen. Old, after 11 years, gave up, so farewell - one of the first with LCD technology and 22 zolls. Now I have new with AMOLED technology and 24 zolls...gosh, what a colours! And screen doesn't make eyes tired. So, at end of February I am going to check how my HW will look on new screen :D

HW2 need repair ships( collis repair upgrade doesn't count) HW1 need anti capital corvettes or better bombers( minelayers ineffective)

Kissland really needed to pump a couple of flak frigates out to deal with the fighter/bomber swarm. Let xenofix deal with the corvettes, frigates, and destroyers with his fleet composition. He struggled with fighter craft because his fighter production is limited to one at a time from each of his production vessels.

I would love to join you guys for a match one day. I'm on the Homeworld Discord server though I'm not such an experienced player and I haven't played a single multiplayer game yet, but it would be nice to meet somebody who I can match.

How do you cast these games if there is no match save/replay feature in the game? I'd love to cast some but I can't figure out how XD

I cast them live. I spawn in as an observer, and record the cast as tge game is being played

Hey. Say I'm making a mod that also has maps in it. What are the most needed variations? Something that would get the most use and maybe is missing variety? 1v1 and 3v3s?

Good question. Perhaps some interesting resource layouts and spawns. Not much else you can do with HWRM maps tbh. Anything that stimulates different types on engagements or avenues of attack. I know thats a pretty vague answer, but thats all i can think of really.

I know nothing about multiplayer etc, but what about a 2v2 having the team players spawn above each other? So you get two "layers" of combat.
