@jonmaclennan: If you have 2 guitarists in the band I would have one play this during the chorus of Dreams: Emaj7 Tuning: EBEG#BD then place a capo on the 1st fret which changes the tuning to an open Fmaj7 : FCFACE 1st chord is all open strings: 000000 with the capo at the1st fret. Next chord with capo at the 1st fret is F/Gmaj 7: Fret position: 220000 If you listen closely you can hear the Martin acoustic playing these subtle syncopated chord stabs. I got my info from Richard Dashut in depth 1977 interview. ( the engineer for the Fleetwood Mac Dreams LP. )

Very nicely presented, But are you sure its F to G and not F to F/G? F to G is everything up a tone. The record sounds more subtle to me than that.

I used to play this on keyboards and it was Fmaj7 to G6, sometimes Fmaj9 which I played as Am7/F to Em7/G (because I had to change the voicing).
