@twelvmnkys4 жыл бұрын
@@benjamingruder4875 Yes! The entire song consists of two versions of the F chord and the G chord. The verses are F- and G-major; the chorus is F-major7 to G-major (and a few variations of G-major, like G5, etc.) But it's so awesomely arranged. I've been hearing it since I was a kid when it first came out on the radio. And, I've played keyboards in a rock band over ten years (although I never attempted this song until today). Even after all that, I was shocked a few years ago to hear someone say it was just two chords. I can learn songs fast; on the fly, on stage. But this song tricked me all these decades! It still blows my mind that I could never hear that it was only F and G. But after sitting at my keyboard with it today, yes that's all. This is the probably the most craftily-arranged song of the 20th century. BTW, the only good thing about the extended India lockdown for me is I got to spend two hours with this song today.

::Lyrics:: Two Now there you go again, you say you want your freedom Well, who am I to keep you down? It's only right that you should play the way you feel it But listen carefully to the sound of your loneliness Like a heartbeat, drives you mad In the stillness of remembering what you had And what you lost Of what you had And what you lost Thunder only happens when it's raining Players only love you when they're playing They say women, they will come and they will go When the rain washes you clean, you'll know You'll know Now here I go again, I see the crystal vision I keep my visions to myself It's only me who wants to wrap around your dreams and Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? Dreams of loneliness Like a heartbeat, drives you mad In the stillness of remembering what you had And what you lost And what you had Remember what you lost Thunder only happens when it's raining Players only love you when they're playing They say women, they will come and they will go When the rain washes you clean you'll know Thunder only happens when it's raining Ooh-ooh, players only love you when they're playing They say women, they will come and they will go When the rain washes you clean you'll know Ooh, when the rain washes you clean you'll know You'll know You'll know You'll know YOU'RE WELCOME

Id give anything to go see def, van, scorpions, all in their prime. Born in mid 80s i got to hear it, just not see it. Fleetwood mac is no exception. Love my childhood music era.

Deuteronomy 28:1 Now if thou wilt hear the voice of all his commandments, which I command thee this day, the Lord thy God will make thee higher than all the nations that are on the earth. Isaiah 65:12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. John 1:5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

This was my tune on my way to chemo every week!!! It gave me vibes, light , hope . I blasted it in the morning, danced in shower, in car all the way to the hospital! It became my Hakka warrior song in my fight and kept me happy and strong throughout… it still gives me chills and makes me dance and sing out loud 💚💛❤️💚💛❤️💚💛❤️

You know I’m circa your era, I cannot remember when I first heard it, but remember listening to it a lot in the mid 90s. Recently the Denmark Badminton’s open championships I think or it’s the french, anyways a week or two weeks ago, they were blaring this song during the intervals and it’s always in the background. Today I finally succumb to my need to look for the old video. Also can’t remember the words, so earlier today, listen to a video with lyrics. This song is so deceptively light yet very deep.

Surprisingly quite a few of my friends and myself listen to Fleetwood Mac, and we're all in 20's. It really depends what your parents listened to growing up imo.

Stevie with her crystal clear 'bell' of a voice, her tawny blonde streaked wavy shag hair, dreamy half closed eyes, dreaming of a past love, singing it out to Lindsey, it had to have been tough to keep the band together with all the heartache & pain.. it's one of the best bands on earth, anyone can clearly hear and see this .

@@zodiac890 Maybe so, but Christine lacks stage presence and is not nearly as hypnotic and mesmerizing as Stevie. Plus, in my opinion, Stevie is a much better songwriter and people are drawn to her raspy, sexy voice...

I agree, damn.... Btw, I actually did a cover of this song and I'll be releasing a creative, artistic music video in honor to Fleetwood Mac.. it might be on my channel in two weeks or so.. but it's gonna be great. I really hope you are as excited as I am.. I'm sure you'll enjoy! if u wanna subscribe that would be cool. My dad introduced me to Fleetwood Mac when I was only 7 years old and look at me now, a 20 yr old who's about to release a cool vid for them. FUN FACT: i dedicate the cover to my ex, so in the video i wanna represent things that happened between my ex and i, maybe even show some things he gave to me. idk. it means a lot to me. idk why i said that. it's interesting because Stevie wrote this for Lindsey.
