"There was life before the Sun ever was created".... this is true... if you watch the current episodes of Blue Planet, there is MUCH life where the sun cant reach... i am not just talking clear blind shrimps and jellies... I mean white crabs around the deep hot vents and whole fish and sharks... much coral and plants... colors of red and white... BEAUTIFUL DOWN THERE! HALLELUJAH that science keeps proving God as we learn more things we can see with out eyes!!

I respect John Paul Jackson very much and it pains me to write this. But he was way out of his depth on the subject of "natural" light and darkness. This presentation of "natural" light and darkness is so erroneous that it will cause most viewers who understand the physics of energy and matter to ignore the good things he says about "spiritual" light because of the gross errors regarding "natural" light and darkness. The script for this video desperately needed a fact checker who understands physics! The division of light into three "spectra" (absorptive, reflective, radiant) shows an ignorance of light that is profound. They are "color spaces" which describe how various media interact with visible light -- they are not different forms of visible light -- rather, visible light is defined by human vision rather than the media transmitting it. "RGB" (red, green, blue) are not the only color channels from which visible radiant light can be created. Darkness does indeed appear to have mass and energy. In fact, the best understanding of astrophysicists today is that the majority of the universe may be composed of dark matter and dark energy. Furthermore, darkness can consume light -- we see many examples of this in universe with black holes. The subject of "natural" light and darkness is a deep one and there are many misconceptions. The "Mystery of Light" is also a deep subject and could be presented very well. However, if "natural" light and darkness are to be accurately understood and accurately described to the viewer, you need to involve someone from the physics community with expertise in this area.

D.Eldon most people who are watching this video are watching it for the spiritual meaning of the light of God. Most could care less about the educational value of this video regarding anything but the light of God. On the topic of that light, he did a wonderful job explaining it.
