Candy, was a warm and magical soul you are. You are absolutely right about healing being a long and tricky path, as a person who is on an ongoing healing journey with anxiety I can relate. Walking the healing path is never easy, the path is not always straight, there are twists and turns to navigate and hills to climb along the way, you just have to take it day by day one step at a time. I use my tarot and oracle practice as a support to the work I am doing with my psychologist, and so I personally choose decks which have a gentle, warm, healing and supportive nature. My favourite deck at the moment is Tarot of a Witches Garden, because it has a very gentle, healing energy about it. The Dreams of Gaia Tarot looks beautiful, absolutely gorgeous artwork.

This deck really is a treasure! I have the large one and the mini! It's such a beautiful deck but the guidebook has so much substance! It's really lovely! Also, if you're going to get a book on Chakras, I recommend anything by Anodea Judith, but in particular her Eastern Body, Western Mind is a wonderful deep dive if you have an interest in marrying the Chakras with psychology!

Isn't the artwork just gorgeous? It reminds me of the kind of fantasy art I filled my walls with as a teenager! I ordered the pocket version (I also have small hands & struggle to shuffle many decks), but after watching Kelly from The Truth in Story's videos on this deck I think I will order the full size just for the book. So looking forward to learning a new system! I can highly recommend Wheels of Life by Anodea Judith as a chakra book, and pretty sure it's under £20 😊💚 xXx Edit: I've also heard great things about her book Eastern Body, Western Mind - also chakra based xXx

@@CandySoulAndSoil It is gorgeous- borderless and matt! But, I think I will be able to better study it with the full guide book so I think its probably worth it. Once I'm more familiar with it, the book that comes with the mini will probably be enough. I hope you like the book, so many exciting things to dive into for your depth year! I was really close to buying some chakra reading cards this week, but decided I have enough book resources- I'd like to have a go at making my own!

Ooo yes that’s a great idea with making your own. I saw the mini deck next to the big deck on Lisa’s latest video at supportive tarot and thought actually this is the deck you could actually justify having the large and mini versions off. Then I stepped away from amazon and sat in a dark corner for a while till the feeling had left 😂

It’s a system all it’s own Brittany. I’m going to deep dive this year with it but you could also use it purely intuitively too. I used it for dream work in February and it was wonderful x

The first deck had all black backs with gilded edges but immediately after it was sent out to everyone, everyone realized there was a mistake with the numbering re. one of the cards. She sent out a replacement card to everyone (I think) who complained about it as well as an entire replacement deck and THAT deck had the detailed backs as seen here only also had the gilded edges like the first deck. My guess is that both sort of counted as first edition decks and that once they became mass-produced they stopped gilding the edges (?).
