This álbum is a prog Masterpiece. Too bad they didn't use this singer anymore. Its just the prefect complement for the instrumental. It has so much character.

Very nice Dreamscape. Also my suggestions, listen to an album called Rooms Of Anguish from a band called Power of Omens. This is extreme but as you get used to it, it will blow your mind.

Great album. I guess I have heard of Dreamscape before being obsessed with Progressive Rock but never got into them. I came here because I heard the bonus track "Dancing With Tears in My Eyes" I was puzzled why a bonus track would sound so familiar but then realized it just sounded very different than the Ultravox version which I have heard many times in my lifetime. Kind of shocked I didn't recognize it right away. Especially growing up in the 80's and listening to a ton of New Wave especially the more Art Rock/Progressive flavored. I guess the arrangements are what made it sound so different.

I was on the computer and suddenly after many years of not listening to this album suddenly I started singing dancing with tears of my eyes (this album's version of course). Timeless..

These laments do not unfold like in a picture book full of stars, where birds come spinning, turn farandoles, cracking rattles and dancing wizards and we can regret it 🤨

is the lead singer here giving anyone else vibes from the early 2000s emo band Placebo?

I would love to know what happened to Hubi Meisel. I have 2 of his albums and he did a 3rd release but it was shelved almost instantly upon 2008 release and it has never been heard of since. I love his haunting style with the spiritual almost fairy-tale sound that he possesses (no pun intended).Hubi portrayed a sonic wall of uniqueness but he is no longer to be heard of. If only he still created music.

Definitely not, but both bands started out in the Dream Theater clone category, this album in particular for Dreamscape. The late 90's were a fun time for progmetal.
