Fr! As a actual victim of SA myself, it makes me so upset that people keep false accusing like it's nothing. It makes it harder for REAL victims to get believed. Not only that, they keep ruining innocent people's lives. The dream situation alone was really messed up. Just because you dislike or hate someone, you shouldn't falsely accuse them of a crime just to ruin them. People are so evil and messed up.

She didn't expose Wilbur, she kept his name out of it. It was only until the fans were connecting the dots on who could it be and fingers began to point at Wilbur, and he then went and outright admitted it was him, basically exposing himself.

thats not really true, it depends on the false allegation, if youve been close to someone. it isnt really easy at all to disprove false accusations unless you have dms where you specifically talk to them about it. lets say hypothetically that wilbur is innocent. how could he prove that? theres no way to prove that at the time shubble consented and was fine with it, unless he has dms where they talk about it. if he doesnt, and their interactions were irl. its extremely difficult to prove it. and when you have the entire internet believing accusations without evidence that also incentivizes you to not even try to prove yourself right since people already started to hate you. the point of the tweet was to show that tubbo jumped on the wilbur hate train, without proof or a benefit of the doubt. while if it happened to tubbo, (an accusation happened and people immediately started hating him) he would want people to give him the benefit of the doubt so he can show receipts and proof. on a real note, i dont genuinely know if wilbur is abusive or not. we dont have proof by either side. no dms, no pictures. its just shubbles word vs his. so personally i am not jumping on a bandwagon to hate anyone, and i just try to look at evidence when it comes out. hypothetically again, if wilbur is innocent. i dont think theres anything he could do right now to prove it. even if he started dropping dms that show shubble was fine with it, would people give him the benefit of the doubt? or do they already hate him and wish his death?

He was Wilbur friend so he wouldn't assume Wilbur did something bad without proof. He (and other creators)obviously has a reason to believe that the accusation is true and he knows the situation better than we do. Also wilbur actually admitted it but his apology was not a real apology so yeah

And if tubbo and wilburs other friends had some clue, that just shows that they're horrible people because they had some idea of what was going on and didn't do anything. I don't think internet friends and associates going against you is prove you're guilty. It could just be proof of an underlying culture where people just immediately believe accusers without any evidence. It could be some form of audience capture. Where creators close to wilbur are performatively "believe all victims" in their content and jumping on the hate bandwagon to virtue signal, while in closed doors they might not have an opinion yet. Which already happened to dream. When dream talked about his allegations he mentioned that many of the creators close to him started hating on him online, while privately they dm'd him, hadn't formed an opinion and were just waiting for evidence. Now on the response part. Let's say hypothetically that wilbur is innocent and it was all consensual. What would his response have been? People expected wilbur (regardless of whether or not hes guilty) to apologize and admit hes an abuser. That is crazy. If wilbur believes/is innocent why would he take accountability for something he didn't do? If wilbur is innocent. Wouldn't his response be exactly how it was? Wouldn't he say that, yes he did bite, admit faults from his part (for example being lazy etc), but dismiss the claim that it was abuse and non consensual? Now it could also be the case that wilbur's response wasn't motivated by a genuine belief that he's innocent, it could be motivated by a malicious desire to obfuscate the conversation and deny the allegations. Regardless of if wilbur is an abuser, or innocent, his response would have been the same. It would have just been with different intentions. There's this common misconception that wilbur admitted to being abusive. He never did. He outright denied that, and said that everything was consensual, that's not "admitting to being abusive". The only thing wilbur admitted was that 1) biting happened, (this is not an admission of abuse, biting can happen consensually and be enjoyed by both parties, just like basically any other kinky activity) 2) that he was lazy and egotistical, which also isnt an admission of abuse. I can't tell whether or not you're being purposefully misleading by saying that he admitted to being abusive, or if you're just misinformed, or misunderstood it.

Shelby stayed with Wilbur after the abuse started and didn't even realise it had been an abusive relationship until after it ended. She might have stayed with him much longer if he hadn't become so distant and detached. Also, people can cheat. I'm definitely not saying that Tommy is an abuser. There's no reason to think that he is. I just don't think you can ever really say that it's impossible for this or that person or that to be abusive even if you do know them personally, but especially if you don't.

I don't know which Dream controversy you are referring to. I was never his biggest fan(most of my experience with him was through Techno), and after Techno I became pretty distant from the Minecraft community with a few exceptions and instances. But I still see things and keep up a bit when I learn about serious shit, and everything has been going to shit. This is extremely selfish of me, but it feels like Techno's memory is being tainted by certain creators and certain minecraft viewers. I read recently someone saying something similar to this: "It was only a matter of time before Techno would have been exposed for something as well. The whole Minecraft community is toxic." And it had likes... I miss Techno a lot still, and every time something fucked happens around those people even if I personally never liked them or watched them. I think about Techno and feel his time and memory being tainted. Not to say I am not supporting victims and ultimately glad when shitty people are exposed. It's just a bitter feeling.

@@youraveragefan6953 i know that bc she replyed to why she turned off her comments on twitter warning people what would be in the replys to her so it wouldnt be js triggering to her but other people aswell, but before in her stream when she brought what wilbur has done to light, she says she has gotten 10 months of therapy from what had happened, n how some breathing techniques have helped her a lot, so i think shes recovering well. but the part that makes me SO SO broken hearted is that when she first talked about it she never really thought that people would believe her n was overwhelmed with the amount of support. i've never been a victim myself, but i can see now how hard it is to come forward n i admire her bravery n anyone who comes forward with a topic like that

A lot of the time when you see men speak about cases where they've been assaulted or abused a lot of people dismiss it or take it less seriously (though this is getting a little better now). This can be seen in court scenarios and in comment sections if a man speaks about abuse. Especially if it isn't someone well known.

I support all the innocent victims like Dream, George, and Tubbo and I can’t believe that people are saying these lies about them even though they did nothing wrong at all. People are f*cked up and if people are just going to hate and make up lies that could actually end their careers. I love the qsmp and the dsmp but this is just horrible. (I don’t support Wilbur because of what he has done though.)

Tubbo has been falsely accused and had nothing to do with the alleged „victim” whatsoever. George is a bad and vile person, tubbo is not.

He said that the girl was engaging in it and chose not to leave when her friend left and wasn’t showing any signs of discomfort. George didn’t want her to be uncomfortable and didn’t do anything wrong. That girl was wrong for lying about her age and drinking when she wasn’t supposed to. Nothing is George’s fault. George was falsely accused of assault when really he barely did anything to her. They falsely accused George and Tubbo.

@@Punkinfied actually, as someone who has watched both Caiti and George's VODs, their stories line up with one another. Caiti seemed to have taken the experience differently to how George did. George apologized and admitted to touching her, yes, but seemed to have been entirely unaware that Caiti was uncomfortable. According to him Caiti wasn't acting like she was uncomfortable, and the touching did not happen out of nowhere. I don't think either of them are lying, I think it was a misunderstanding. I don't think that's a far-fetched conclusion to reach.

(Via from the information we have now) For now, we know she was uncomfortable, and George wasn’t picking up on it. The few things that should be taken into account is the “trend” (ewww) is to NOT mention the person and let them address the situation. It’s also the APPROPRIATE WAY! To talk about something traumatic. Don’t accuse people of things. Share your story. And let them respond if they care to get the record straight. Going after tubbo is NOT OK! There are certain KZbinrs who launching allegations at is just not ok. And there are some who KNOW WHAT THEY DID (looking at willbur) This whole point is trying to normalize coming out with your story, to share what happened. To teach the warning signs, to let people know they are not alone and it’s going to be ok! Not bring others down and accuse or attack! That’s the main problem we are seeing with “believe all victims” in my forensics class we learned how easy it was for a lady who was STUDYING HER R@PERS FACE to not pick the right guy out of a lineup. It doesn’t invalidate her as a victim. It doesn’t mean she wasn’t r@ped. It just means that the man she BELIEVED was her r@pist was proven by dna evidence to be innocent. It’s not uncommon for our brains to be confused or get things wrong in complicated and stressful situations ESPECIALLY in a drunken state! Our brains tend to blur memories we find stressful to look at or think about for our own safety and once we believe something happened that’s what happened to us. It doesn’t invalidate the feelings it simply means that ACCUSING SOMEONE OF ACTIONS MUST BE TAKEN VERY SERIOUSLY! sharing stories isn’t accusing, supporting people who have been abused or s@xually harassed Or just had an uncomfortable experience isn’t harmful to ANYONE! but ACTIVELY ATTACKING OR MENTIONING THE PERPETRATORS MUST BE MET WITH EXTREME CARE AND SKEPTICISM! Because now they aren’t just a victim they are an accuser, a plaintiff and while I support victims as I am a victim of 5 separate people on multiple accounts for multiple reasons. I am also someone who was accused of being an abuser and accused of sexual assault. Things I DID NOT DO! my ex partner had memory problems and she knew this but she had also been gaslit before because of this so once she no longer felt safe with me she assumed something happened even though it was more complicated then that (I will explain if you ask me to I get mixed responses but by no means did I abuse or sexually harass her) I kept my promise and didn’t try to change her mind as that would invalidate her trust and that was that. So I know better then most the difference between sharing your story and accusing/being accused. Shelby was sharing her story, a lot of these girls are sharing their stories. It’s only when the internet came into play and dug up the guys did it become a “he said she said” and honestly when the defendant has VALID POINTS! or AN ACTUAL APOLOGY! Then we shouldn’t attack the “accused” but rather just support the “victim” in how they feel… but that’s not internet. And that’s why things like this happen.

He has built himself his own Truman show and this is evident by the fact he doesn’t hide what he has done nore address the continued biting in any way as bad… looking at his past behavior his behavior now lines up. This tells me it’s not because of manipulation it’s because he genuinely doesn’t see anything wrong with what he has done and until something drastic happens he will continue to believe the world is just not understanding correctly. The only way for him to truly understand what he did was wrong is for it to become a legal case because if he is anything like my dad… “context doesn’t make it better, the context actually makes it worse” i would say he needs genuine psychiatric help if I thought it would stick but it’s not he’s manipulating people it he genuinely needs a time out. (Narcissistic personality disorders stem from something going wrong in the developmental stage of individuality. This causes a childlike tendency to veiw the world through a you centric lens. In extreme cases you even believe everyone believes what you believe and knows what you know to the point that anyone disagreeing with you must simply be wrong because everyone else agrees with you. This is the bare bones of NPD but it highlights the childish tendencies people with NPD have and how treatment must also follow suit) I honestly think Will needs a punishment before he goes to get psychiatric help. A punishment that prevents him from indulging in negative defense mechanisms and a dangerous support system. He needs to be removed from the world for a bit and then slowly reintroduced. I’m not sure if a psyche ward would be appropriate for the first step but definitely it should be A step.

@@NeoSokioArtz i know that bc she replyed to why she turned off her comments on twitter warning people what would be in the replys to her so it wouldnt be js triggering to her but other people aswell, but before in her stream when she brought what wilbur has done to light, she says she has gotten 10 months of therapy from what had happened, n how some breathing techniques have helped her a lot, so i think shes recovering well. but the part that makes me SO SO broken hearted is that when she first talked about it she never really thought that people would believe her n was overwhelmed with the amount of support. i've never been a victim myself, but i can see now how hard it is to come forward n i admire her bravery n anyone who comes forward with a topic like that

I don't know much about the George situation but I was scared to look into it in fear that it would be someone taking advantage of the fact that Shubble came out against Wilbur. I see that people are still trying to take light away from her by making false stories though sense this one exists. Again, I haven't looked into the George situation, I'm not sure the details, I hope the stories fake obviously but if it is I'm also disappointed that someone would fake that, especially at this time.
