The way this helicopter flies kinda reminds me of all the dreams I've had where I can fly. I never fly around like Superman in those dreams it's always been just like this, a low and slow lazy kind of flight.

I am currently loving the H160 now that i’ve massively reduced the SAS (“fights you”) stability (personal preference). I recently then started flying the MD500E and i have found its hot-rod nature to be SUPER fun, given its incredible sensitivity to inputs and power-to-weight. Wow.

Ah yes the MD500E is great fun! I can’t wait to see the Action Expansion Pack come to the H160.

I flew this through portion of the Grand Canyon and the view was absolutely incredible, you are definitely right about the sightseeing value. I did describe the motor to GotFriends as having a lawn mower strapped to your back by cable ties lol. I give it 11/10 for fun.

This is my back yard ! .. live at the top of Chichester harbour… had the honour of being a passenger in the Boulton spitfire from goodwood, micro lighted from thorney, and been on Horse Sands Fort … never seen the carrier in the Solent in my sim though … did you engineer that ? The Portsmouth add on has a carrier at dock you can land on .. dropped a Tiger on there once ! Great vid .. will access the donation site .. Jonny (V6 YOT)

Cheers Jonny, I think the carrier came in with an add on, Orbx South GB POI quite possibly.

Often thought an ultralight would be a good touring platform, for the view as you mentioned. But they are so &$#% slow. 250 kph redline, probably means 200 kph is fairly sustainable: that is more like it. And you can land on the lawn of a high-end estate for a break anytime you want to. Not seeing much ground effect. Is this a flaw, or just somehow an effect of the tiny size?
@Dreamsofwings23 күн бұрын
I think it was just designed as a bit of fun rather than an ultra realistic simulation.

I wonder whether they are going to raise all of the sunken moored boats for MSFS 2024. Since it is. . . all of them, it will be quite an undertaking. (20+ years in the U. S. Coast Guard, I speak from experience.) But, they have a lot on their minds and I would forgive them if they balk at the expense.

Many thanks! Yes they are incredibly irritating! I’ve not found a solution yet.
@Dreamsofwings10 ай бұрын
Ok I have found a fix (for mine anyway!) by deleting the rolling cache and leaving it off. There is a suggestion it may be linked to the new Orbx GB mesh not playing well with Rolling Cache but even if you don’t have the mesh it is worth a try.

They are saying for such low and slow flight the graphics need to be more realistic. Which is true, for low and slow I keep more to countryside or mountain regions. I have not played cyberpunk 2077 so not sure what that is like.
@Dreamsofwings10 ай бұрын
@@cammy9r lol I’ve played Cyberpunk 2077 and it’s a first person shooter so of course it’s going to have more detailed graphics. I guess some of us are old enough to see an improvement on older sims so don’t see it as being as unrealistic as others lol
