Is there any addon or something so the ice on the water actually is ice, cause if u land on it the plane/helicopter moves lige the waves?

I had a flight here this summer, also partly at the controls, nice little airport! We flew along the bay also, I noticed beneath the watersurface the bottom structure and colors were very well visible.

I like the view. In MSFS 2024 my favorite plane is the L-39 Albatros as fast sightseeing ride. 370 knots or so, your Spitfire will blow right by. A bit more complicated to start up, but very easy to fly. Looking forward to some more warbirds becoming available for MSFS 2024.

the better question, why Fly any war plane when you can't use it for what it was designed for?

if you have vr why do you rarely use it? i dont really get this, vr particularly in helicopters is incredible, there is no comparison to 2d in terms of immersion and the feeling of being there, not to mention 3d spacial awareness which makes a huge difference when flying helis.!

Nah, still don't get it MSFS flight models are pretty lame and half the fun is pushing a plane to the limit - the on/off failure mode of MSFS is one of its biggest weaknesses and diminishes the experience compared to a flight sim with actual failure modes

Is there a knack of installing the Random & everywhere missions? I just can’t seem to get it to work☹️ also is there a way of getting uk emergency vehicles added to the scenes? I have the H145 action pack installed so does the random and everywhere just offer more missions on top?

I checked the area in default MSFS2024 before installing the Cli4D version. Night and day difference! I promised myself to have more restraint buying addons, but this one is really worth the money for me as somebody who loves to fly helicopters and has actually been to Geiranger some years ago.

Shame that running water is not standard as it is obviously possible.Perhaps this scenery designer could do a number on the Reichenbach falls as currently they're not even visible..................................................

for me, it’s simply because these majestic machines can be revered and appreciated as aircraft, and not just as weapons with wings. i go to airshows to watch them fly and i would jump at the chance to experience flying in one. that’s all i’m after.

I really wish I could add more details but I am trying to balance the performance. It really is a beautiful place. I just wish Asobo/Microsoft will gave us the tools to make changes on the water texture. Perhaps in the future. Thanks again mate! What a great addon ..was a day one purchase for me , just finished a flight in the H145 here ,top of the mountains walking around in the snow ...Awesome, I was there for a holiday a good few years back with a campervan ..wonderful holiday although driving up the twisty road on the way out (Near the Grand fjord Hotel) was a bit eeek!. By the way i was also surprised to see a Golden Ferguson tractor in the village of Geiranger lol ..its still there on Bing street view 😂 Anyway i digress ..wonderful video and a truly great addon by Cli4d Thanks

I bought my glider from a syndicate that was based at Duxford. While there picking the glider up, 3 Spits took off together, circled the field, did a low pass, and then disappeared to the south. I later learned that they were on their way to do some filming work. Fantastic.

Low key love flying the p40 myself in msfs feels so anologe after flying all the modern stuff and makes you appreciate the young men that flew them and gives you the experience if what flying them in training or ferry flights would have been like

I pretty much only fly the older stuff in Microsoft Flight Simulator. I don't know the real flight patterns, so flying big passenger planes just feels weird to me haha. I'm an Il2 player as well. Il2 Cliffs of Dover is hard to keep the Spitfire cool while in a fight.

Could not have put it better myself mate! Brilliant video in the best style + delivery! Flying in MSFS is so close to IRL flying but not everyone has the opportunity to actually fly a real warbird! I fly in DCS but not always for 'shooty'. The DCS mk9 is by far the most realistic representation other than the A2A in a sim. The Flyingiron Spitfire amongst their other aircraft are in my opinion the best way to enjoy MSFS - to challenge ourselves with these brilliant, complex & beautiful representations of piston powered, steam gauged, historical aircraft in highly accurate and realistic scenery.

Hello, I have watched a lot of your interesting videos with the H145 missions and have already successfully completed a few missions with both the HPG Mission Editor and the Random anywhere mission mod. The only problem I have is that I cannot see the nationally assigned vehicles; the US vehicles are still visible. I have put the Vehicle folder "UK Action Pack Vehicles v1.2_oCF8r" in the Community folder and updated indexed missions. What am I doing wrong? I hope you read this, I can't find a tutorial anywhere that clearly shows how to install the mod correctly.

I fly warbirds most of time in fs2024 at least the ones that work only the spitfire. Hurricane and p47 seem to work ok in 2024 the P38. Fw190 and Me109G. P40 warhawk don't work well at all in fs2024 .I still.use fs 2020 on my xbox just for that reason all wsrbirds show pilots and work great in fs2020

I actually bought FS 2020 for warbirds etc. I thought the Asobo T6 was pretty good. I've flown one (FE511 of Hurricane Heritage) in real life and thought it came pretty close. It helps that there's a repaint available to make it look exactly like FE511. I haven't got the Tiger Moth yet but that's my next purchase as I have also flown one of those at Duxford. I've downloaded many UK airfields too including White Waltham and Duxford. I've been doing tours of the various aero museums that you can install in fs2020.

While it can be very satisfying getting a fully laden 747 in the air, they never really feel like living, breathing things. It's a bit like comparing a Kia to an XK120 in terms of emotional investment and reward. It's probably why I like 80s-90s era motorcycles as well, you have to ride them and respect them, or they bite.

Question - Why Fly Warbirds in Microsoft Flight Simulator Me - Because I can :)

It’s stupid. They’re planes, they fly, but their intended role is to be in a combat situation and utilized as such. Otherwise why not simply fly a C-172? This is just a money grab and why sims like IL-2 and DCS exist for these aircraft. In MSFS you’re relegated to running ferry flights or make believe air shows with military aircraft.

Right , I joined your Discord channel as well. perhaps someone can help me for the life of me I cant do a loop in the FW190 I have emerg power and full power and go up and as I pull up and nose over I black out and comming out of as I reduce power am over the place but manage to straighten myself but does look like rather embarrasing. before I can do an airshow need to work on me skills.

I like the challange of flying warbirds at first I thought can't shoot anyone or blow things up in the sim butttt the challange to fly around me local area is simply a blast. maybe a grp with warbirds can do an airshow perhaps for others.

Warbirds are fantastic or I should say WW2 fighters are amazing. The engine management alone in an accurately simulated ww2 fighter is amazing. Likewise the ground handling is only accurate in DCS with none of the correct braking systems in use in MSFS. Tuppacks challenge of flying a real Spitfire or mosquito was the British brake system and it’s very different techniques required to use it. The dumbed down warbirds with basic ground handling and bullet proof engines needing almost no management to me make DCS the only option. In fact I rarely fly combat in them in DCS the challenges of getting a P-47 or Mosquito just into the air is a challenge. All the poor things about msfs come to the fore inaccurate taxiing and ground handling lack of engine management etc all make msfs a big no go for aircraft that require so much finesse and technique. If your missing all of the features of the real aircraft for me I see no point. I fly real aeroplanes and do not enjoy dumbed down versions when we have high fidelity models that accurately handle and need real world operating techniques. Not everyone needs that but that’s why we have DCS for those who want to experience reality in a multiplayer environment. BTW these aircraft where designed to be a weapon first no shooty shooty really makes them feel rather bland compared to firing a full salvo from a Mosquito. I recommend you try one of the DCS aircraft on a try before you buy it the free Mustang which comes with DCS for free. If you want a true warbird experience it’s very cheap ie free and considerably more challenging than what msfs provides. Enjoyed your video lovely Duxford scenery. Highly recommend taking the dCS Sputfire into the wW2 Normandy map and land at a forward airfield it’s about a thousand times more challenging than what msfs provides. Keep the good videos coming..

Dcs and his warbirds has more realistic FM than Mfs2020 and 2024. Try to fly DCS P-51 and than compare it to stock P-51 from Mfs2024, meh.
