25 euros for something the developers could have done themselves... I can see buying planes if I like them. But when I think about how the sim was announced ages ago as one of the best of all time, and what it ultimately turned out to be, I'm very disappointed. especially when it comes to effects like those in the video. sad that "small" developers do better work than microsoft.. There are so many good grsfik engines in other games that also work and look perfect.

@@bartman-hr6ho check the settings menu in the Random and anywhere mission interface on the tablet. There might be a way of changing it there though to be honest better to have it on I would have thought.

This is an old video so back then I used TrackIR, these days I use the Grass Monkey King Puck system. I seem to remember that blue livery was a default one.

@@bartman-hr6ho many thanks! So you would need to head to www.hypeperformancegroup.com and pick up the H145 base pack and the H145 Action Pack expansion. I’ve linked the free Random and Anywhere mod in the video description. I use it for single player but Hype of also developed the ability to fly multiplayer missions.

@@AndrewDean777 cheers Andrew. You hold the prop governor test switch down as you advance power levers. The prop RPM should stop rising at 1600 as you advance power further and that is a test that the prop gov is working correctly.

Hi, as a retired professional pilot you should always use the phonetic alphabet, so in should be “Charlie” not “C”. SayIntentions AI should be doing the same. Interesting video by the way, I am considering subscribing to SayIntentions AI but I am waiting for the software to develop a bit more before I do.

Great video and recently subscribed. I’ve just got into flight sim but on the Xbox at the moment but will be moving onto PC soon as I feel the Xbox is a bit limited especially when it comes to ATC and various add ons. Really like how your gps unit integrates with navigraph. Do you have a list of your setup and add ons ? I take it you’re running a high end PC? Looking to build my own PC for simming but it all seems a bit of a minefield 🫤

Many thanks! Yes running on a PC, so for this I am using SimFX from //42, Black Square Analog King Air, TDS GTNxi 750 GPS, Rex Accuseason Advanced ( vegitation), Black Square airport signs and markings. EGPH from Flightsim.TO and EGCC from Macco simulations

Yes I will have to try it sometime. The thing that has always put me off it is the lack of coverage as I tend not to use big airports and at least with something like this, all airports/airfields are covered.

Nice flight I have this scenery but not flown it yet. I also have the huey and am enjoying it a lot. This could become my favourite when flying by hand so to speak, but the HPG H145 and H160 are when I want to watch the scenery whilst the H145 is for HEMS work. Keep up the good work.

Question, does this huey relly on the CFD system and does it really simulate the semi-rigid rotor, or is it the rigid rotor simulation with added lag ?

It does use the MSFS CFD system, with regards to the semi-rigid rotor vs a rigid rotor unfortunately I don't have an answer for that.

Many thanks! Are you talking about rotor trim? If that is the case then I will probably keep trimming where I need to although certainly in the H145 for final approach and landing I will use the cyclic trim release so that I have full control over that without fighting the computer stability.

That’s very kind of you but I still have a way to go. Honestly some of best advice I ever saw for practicing was from HeliSimmer and that was to fly something like a circuit pattern and just practice that to get used to handling.

@mrflightsimulator3335 not really as it all varies depending on what controllers you are using. I have a warthog grip on a 15cm extension to a Virpil Warbrd base and with that setup I don’t currently have any curves set up. For me it is really key to have that instant input as flying helos is all about lot’s of tiny inputs to stay on top of it.
