There is an issue with hypr controllers... you buy... they dont ship it... they dont answer emails... ive purchased one hypr controller on nov 28... after seeing this video... still dont have any update on shipment... its a fraud.

I 100% recommended going with option 3! I use to play claw but I use to get crazy pains in my index finger and was so bad I had to go to a doctor who recommended I to stop using claw! Been using an Xbox elite controller for about 4 years now and will never go back

Another way that helps a lot is aiming with gyro aiming on. Pair that with flick stick, and a deluxe controller with back paddles like the Dualsense Edge and you got the aiming of M&K with the comfortable grip of a controller, heck you can even couch gaming like this.

I still have my stock Xbox One controller for 6 years now. I don't have any issues with it and I do play aggressively as I am a rush player in SnD. My controller layout is set on Bumper Jumper Tactical so I don't need to play claw. I would love to get those trigger controllers but mahn it's too expensive in South Africa

If you want to get a backbutton setup for an affordable price. Buy extremerate's backbuttons. You dont need to solder as long you dont want to set the touch pad or the joysticks on the backbuttons. I have done it on 3 controllers with their instructions video without any knowledge or experience in electronics.

Hey just an FYI on my HYPR order I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but they have been “play testing my Controller since January 25,2023 and then they put it back to “Building it” then January 30 back to testing. I get generic emails when I ask about an ETA for delivery. It’s almost 7 weeks now with nothing but “we are busy”

Surely Claw Grip would lead to RSIs over time? Exerting force at 90 degrees to the angle a finger's knuckle normally bends and tendons usually shorten.. cheaper than back paddles I guess! Do you, people! But take a break when you feel the ache! I thought I gave myself arthritis in my left thumb by playing Zelda: BOTW with a Switch Pro controller (clearly, not the ergonomics my hands craved for smashing those 100+hours out in record time...) Turns out it was just tendonitis and totally resolved within about a year :P

Yea recently stopped using the claw grip I was younger when I learned it and was sort of influenced by people to learn it, it sucks cause once u learn u dont want to stop using it but now my fingers hurt when I use the claw position, when I stopped my hands feel 100x better but I do want to invest in some paddles or some type of back attachment

I have a scuf that lasted me 3 years i know a lot of people say they break way to easy but i must have got lucky or i just take care of my controllers i dont use it now though cause the L3 stick to run in cod doesnt work its a known issue with ps4 controllers that isnt scufs fault i learned to play claw instead of buying another scuf mainly cause i dont have the money for one they’re way to pricey these days

When i was still on console 3 years ago, i was using claw grip most of the time. U used to have an elite controler but it broke pretty fast (it was known for breaking in multiple ways) Tho on that controler, the paddles were superbbbbb, the sticks were JUST RIGHT and the buttons all felt nice and it was a bit more weighty which i liked. Also the grip was good. If it wasnt for the hardware flaws, i wouldve called it the best controler at the time. On pc my aim is obviously not that good because no aim assist like there is on controler

I remeber my first controller had 4 back buttons but i didn’t do anything with them bc i wasn’t into gaming on a competitive level my first controller was a xbox Elite series 2 which later on i gound out had bad life span issues anyway the controller i use now for cod is a turtle beach recon the newest one im getting a pdp controller but sum time in the future i do want to upgrade to something like this

Great video but I am shocked you didn't mention stick drift. this is the number one reason I switched to the eswap x pro controller with removable magnetized thumb sticks and fully programable back buttons. when they start to drift it's only a $20 part on amazon. this makes all other controllers obsolete. I finally found this controller after already spending $1000 on the top custom controller builds

Great content as always, but what else do you know about HYPR controllers? Their website seems unfinished and busted in places. Their "About" page is super brief and vague. What makes them different than battle beaver or scuff? Almost all major controllers use the same components under the covers these days. For now I think I'll stick with Battle Beaver, they make a great product, I can't figure out who else uses HYPR.

Still, no back buttons will replace claw grip when it comes to availability. I have series 2 conttoller and still play claw style. Also, you can switch to any controller and it will work every time.

Awesome content as usual, don't know why Sony/MS don't make back paddles a standard part of their controllers. Also, Razer has a controller called the Wolverine Tournament Edition that has 2 extra bumpers, made a world if difference with the back paddles.

I have the Wolverine Ultimate and I legitimately can't go back to standard controllers. I have ABXY bound to the back and top buttons, and the lower 2 on the back are changed depending on the game. Like for Halo or CoD, lower left is to ping so I don't have to press the d-pad mid fight.

there is a lot of better options for my money than this one. xbox elite 2 is the all around best but the quality control is a huge problem and xbox limits there input lag so no overclocking to get it to 1ms. the new lines of scuf are the next best thing with minimal problems. but if anyone is actually looking for one wait for the new razer or the elite 3 that comes out in probably April bc they will be using magnetic sticks which apparently eliminates any stick drift.
