Vocalist instrument is organic, not a wood or metal like others. I remember the first time my ears heard a foreign song called 'pull me under', for some reason I wanted to hear a new song from start to finish, without skipping, and I remember that because of your voice, Mr. LaBrie. I probably wouldn't like a band called Dream Theater if the vocals I heard at that time weren't Mr. LaBrie. Thank you for your service, Mr LaBrie. From someone among the millions of Indonesians who love and know Dream Theater because of your voice. The gifts you have are already useful for many people. Thank you!

I’ve listened to each and every song and album they’ve put out so far, and in my personal opinion, Distance over Time is the best and greatest album they’ve ever created! Offering a new perspective to lyrics, melody, progressive metal and basically everything, providing deep meaning to life and its struggles and challenges, emotions, who we are and where we’re possibly going! This is probably my favorite song off the whole album, and this live performance is absolutely incredibly. James kills it on the vocals!!! Where the songs starts versus where it ends is such a journey, which is classic for Dream Theater. I especially love that the main connecting thread between the proggy/heavy first half and the more melodic second half is the chorus, which changes to be so much more emotional in the second half, especially with the soaring guitar behind it. It feels like the first few choruses are setting up and establishing the theme for when the epic finale kicks in!!!

Mangini took Dream Theater on level up to be in this 'Rush' territory with his v unique drumming, with Portnoy , they will be back to the same typical level which is great too, but definitely, less creative and more predictable but in a good way because not every 'predictable' is bad , I wish they Kept both drummers like what King Crimson did with Gavin and Pat

Let me help you, how much longer till you realize? You're getting worse and it's killing you inside I can't break through, do you have to face this on your own? Want to be left alone Don't leave me now, don't leave me now I know that it's tearing you apart Don't leave me now, don't leave me now Come alive You feel I'm asking too much of you but can't let go Fear breeds the hate and your apathy, empty and hollow You lost your face, there's no getting through. Why shut me out? Frantic, disturbed, filled with misery, can't figure it out Sleepless, worse for wear Staring at the ceiling I'm sedated, intoxicated Deafening, deafening Shout it out, shout it out Burning, burning No way out, no way out Don't leave me now, don't leave me now I know that it's tearing you apart Don't leave me now, don't leave me now Come alive Asked me to listen Can't go on to face another day I lied, not admitting What I lost is still in you Something's missing You see darkness in my eyes Maculate, there is no cure Playing over to stop pretending Walked inside, it's never ending turn Don't leave me now, don't leave me now Don't leave me now Don't leave me now, don't leave me now Don't leave me now
