It really is epic! I must say I wasn’t enthusiastic about the Dramatic Turn of Events album without Portnoy as it seemed to lack the raw aggression and adrenaline tracks that Portnoy contributed to in the past. but I gave it a few more rotations then realized it’s a pretty amazing body of work technically and creatively. and this track is brilliant…hard, edgy then soft and melodic with Petrucci ripping our faces off with an epic solo…but everyone contributed to this track and that’s what makes it so great IMO.

A more talented band does not exist. Each member is at the apex of his instrument's contribution to the musical canon that is progressive rock music. They have extended the reach and challenged the musical boundaries set by prog's greatest bands-Yes, ELP, Rush, Kansas, Genesis, Crimson and Floyd et al. That is no easy chore, yet they have done it with great aplomb and top shelf excellence.
