Different voice actor for one, for another, Hiccup's not really used to being in the spotlight for a positive reason, especially when he was younger. So he doesn't feel like he deserves the praise, even if it's coming from Astrid, Gobber or Valka. Not to mention he doesn't actually get pissed, he just blames himself, or comes up with what if scenarios, similar to what we see in Race To The Edge and the lead up to the final fight in the third film. I suppose if you were a little more that way inclined I could also mention that's the same line of dialogue from when Hiccup caged up the Zippleback and scared it with an eel, before sheepishly addressing the other teens and running off for more Toothless related errands.

Mainly because Mike Myers, as well as every other celebrity, wasn’t there because the game can’t afford them. The magic was at most imitated, but slightly “there”. 🤷🏿‍♂️
