Bad Guys 2 and Shrek 5 did the same Pixar swap release date, You know incredibles 2 and Toy Story 4 they used to came out in 2019 June for incredibles and 2018 for Toy Story, but they switched releases dates. Shrek 5 was gonna come out in 2025 and Bad Guys 2 in 2026 but they switched doing the same Pixar swap release date.

I'm not handing out Dreamworks this much credit. They could've easily rejected these creator's projects for the sake of a quick cash grab. And above of all, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Nobody can determine if these new animation will meet reviewer standards our not.

My concern with Dreamworks animation now that they are going into the same route as Skydance or Sony Pictures animation is that how are the overseas animators going to be treated? If you ask me, treating your employees with respect and having a union is a way better approach to head forward

I'm getting a pattern from DreamWorks. They make 2-3 good movies, 2-3 bad ones and repeat. They have enough drive from the good movies to stay afloat on the bad ones. Also it speaks volumes as to why both happen, they take risks and should be greatly respected.

Dreamworks was always great at adapting books. 2 out of its first 5 animated successes were Prince of Egypt (based on the bible) and Shrek (based on William Steig's book).

If there's a Kung fu panda 5; i won't watch it. The trilogy was great, 4 is ok. No need for another movie. All the villains respects Po and won't come back; not sure his village will be attacked; except Kai; no one else found it. I doubt his fathers will get captured. Beside him training the fox girl to be the next dragon warrior, i really don't see what can happen 🤨
