Ph i relate for sure! I lose heart sometimes smack dab in the middle of a project no matter how well it all started out. I call it the feeling of “day 2” of any project. Even this one, there was so much painting but totally worth the patience for the final result. I was watching your video today and my granddaughters, aged 3 and 5 heard your voice and came over and climbed up on either side of me to watch the transformation of your potting shed. When you showed the first image of the finished product I gasped and said "OMG I want a shed like that" and they both burst out with "me too!!!" That was both shocking and pleasing to know that, even at that age, they can value the immense change you effected, and that your potting shed was such a beautiful place, we all want one of our own. thank you for your great videos. I am so so happy I found your channel!! I too, love love making neglected things beautiful and am currently renovating an old farmhouse all by myself. It's had a revolving renters door for decades (so lots of abuse). The house is pretty too, so I'm adding lots of character. My style is also eclectic and bohemian and, I use a screw to start holes for hooks too😊. You are a gem❤

SO GLAD I found your video. I have been wanting to convert my 1950s detached garage to a potting shed/greenhouse and have been scouring KZbin for inspiration/tutorials. There isn't a lot out there for that type of specific space. This is a huge help and fantastic resource to help guide my own garage conversion! Gorgeous.

It turned out beautiful. Better than I expected. I just bought a house last year and the huge garden shed was one of the determining factors. It was a bigger disaster than yours started out, but I did a makeover on it, took me 2 months! Haha I did a lot of similar stuff you did and painted the walls white, too. It needs a new roof, so I may do what you did to let more light in. Awesome job 👏🏼

That’s amazing you did one too! Very worth it. Thanks so much. Ours was two separate reconfigurations but it’s really been a useful place. I do recommend the fiberglass roofing… just make sure it is sealed… I’ve had issues. Happy gardening.

Cade you are so talented. Love your style. The ruler had the name of my place, Inch-by-Inch. Inch by inch we will get it done. Lol. I have a ice cream table that was my grandparents and the clear panels were similar to what they had over their awning except theirs was green. It gave a wonderful warm glow on everything. Everything looked better with those panels. Love what you did. I love the windows on the door side. Was that the old roll up garage door? There is a burger place in San Jose that has the roll up doors like that called The counter. They roll the doors up when it is nice weather which is all the time. If you are ever in that area go have a burger. They use Bison. Best burgers and string fried onions ever! No worries on the Cicadas. They don’t bite and they leave behind a shell that you can take and hang on your clothes as a pin or hang on your screens or curtains. HaHa just kidding about the pin. We have Cicadas every year here. I love the sound. When we lived by you in Colorado and I would drive back to Louisiana every summer I knew I was getting close to home when I turned off of Interstate 20 and on to Hwy 1 going south I would start hearing them sing. If you get a chance watch them come out of their shell and get their wings. The color is a beautiful lime green. I don’t know if you have Copperhead snakes there but they hang out by the trees when the Cicadas come out the ground and climb up the tree. Evidently they like the taste.😝 Your shed gave me many good memories. Wish I could come sit a spell like we did on my back porch. 😉 You definitely have the touch for decorating. Love the bistro style look. The best chairs are the French cafe chairs in my opinion for the bistro look. That particular table was from a ice cream shop in Sutton’s Bay Michigan. Thanks for watching
