I'm still mad that MiHoYo hasn't released Yusuf's cover of Regression, without the Otto audio. For context for all you Star Rail fans, he's the same guy who sang Samudrartha, Dan Feng/Heng's theme.

I think the Otto voiceover was a great additiom for the concert, but yeah, wish there was a version without it for when I just feel like listening to it

Fun Fact for Mina Cyberangel and Honkai World Diva are re-produced versions of Angel of Sin and Diva of the Disruptive World, which are also Bronya and Mei's theme songs in GGZ respectively. Both songs originated from the now disbanded Hatsune Team, which is usually called the "ruined version" and had used the Miku voice. When Hoyo-mix re-produced them for GGZ, it was performed by Tetracalyx (with Honkai Diva having another version with SAYA). Then re-produced again with their current performers, Hanser and Mika Kobayashi respectively. Edit: Mina needs to react to the version PV or the PV music at least.

I think the best description of Honkai Impact 3rd's story in one short sentence is "Coming of age perfected". It has it all which makes it so easy to relate to. You can see the struggles you yourself went through (hopefully not even a fraction as extreme) so you empathise way more. Of course the writing quality plays a huge role.

This concert is more focused on Elysia and Flame Chasers theme because it was the "hype" last year, chapters 29-31. Just like the first one was Kiana and the Herrscher of the Void/Flamescion, chapters 9-25. And the last one: Forest Capriccio Concert was more focused in the last arc of Part 1, chapters 31-35 and a little bit of Seele's new battlesuit. And finally, I wonder if next year we will have chapters 36-45 for a concert too... Which I find difficult because they are saving everything for Part 2 now My favs are the themes one, idk I just enjoy the instruments so much...

Oracle is my favourite, followed by TruE. Most of these songs are from the PVs, so it's great to see visuals matched to Hoyo-Mix as well. The song that started the credits is from the concept short 'Winter Memories.' There are also the non-canon animated shorts Reburn and Bronya.

In Honkai Gakuen 2, the Bronya character song named Angel of Sin [罪の天使 (Tsumi no Tenshi)] originally is a Vocaloid song like Honkai World Diva and reproduced twice by TetraCalyx (HoYoMix) used in the game. Cyber Angel is the same song but recomposed with new lyrics. We can see Bronya grow by looking at the different Lyrics. I like to play these three versions together in my playlist.

Funny that she ended up seeing the concerts out of order. I also can't wait for Mina to find out March is Elysia and Mei lost daughter 🤭 Jokes asides, she really need to finish the Elysium Realm one day to get a good view of the whole thing before we talk about ships and stuff ppl.

Star Rail already has a concert. It was called "Departure Festival". I feel like that video was released with little fanfare and so went under a lot of people's radar.

No matter how many times i see this This concert has one of the best renditions to transitions, not the best effects but it does justice to all the songs and all Songs that didnt stand out that much in the trailer got so much better here like Raven theme and Pardofelis theme While transitions for Journeys of the Stars are just amazing, esp Sentience theme to Kasumi theme

Fun Fact: After Thus Spoke Apocalypse and seeing Dreamy Euphony Regression, I blasted Yusuf’s version 3 times a day, to the point I know every lyric and every time Otto speaks He may be a PoS and a bastard, but I’m sure as hell to be the first to honor his grave

They allowed you to play based on arc now so you can start immediately from chapter 29 but chapter 29 requires you to play ER for full context so there's that Additionally, the rewards available for new players are much better now than before Edit: also since part 2 is starting soon, it's a good reason to start again
