Missplays during the league: 00:37:05 After the mistake of dredging the known Exhume, the best play is to reanimate the 2 Scrapwork Mutts even without using their abilities and try to flashback the Giant. 00:39:48 It is better to cast first the Ancient Grudge because if I had drawn an untapped land the next turn I could have played the Satyr. 00:59:00 The game is probably already lost, the only hope is to cast the 2 Giants from the hand in the next 2 turns and force them to have 2 Counterspell. 00:48:00 I have lethal damage by unearthing the Scrapwork, discarding the Giant and reanimating it with Dread Return from the hand.

Another one at 48 min or so, you had lethal by unearth mutt discarding giant, swing with mutt and troll to bring down to 5 life with 5 creatures in grave other than giant, reanimate giant with dread in hand to deal 5 exactly

I don't like Ancient grundge on Br. Have not many targets, exhume is far more better for you than him, no?
@AlessandroPiracciniMTG21 күн бұрын
@@arthurbordallo3369 I'm not an Exhume fan in general, it helps to play around graveyard hate against midrange and control decks, and sometimes scams against glee but the plan against aggro is mainly Gnaw to the bone; I don't like to keep 4 cards I can cast only from hand in order to try to reanimate one of my 4 Ents, which is the only creature you want to reanimate because the Troll and the Giant are weak in the matchup. Grudge is good against lands, blood tokens and Spellbomb and it is synergistic with the Mill/Dredge plan, which is the best one in order to make huge Gnaw to the Bones. I think it is a matter of taste and how we interpret the matchup, and this is my idea :D

Wow, this is pretty incredible. Seeing a serious deck and serious in-depth analysis in English is rare nowadays. This is next-level content ...more please!!

great to have more high value pauper content on KZbin. I appreciate the effort to stick to English. keep up the good work!

48:12 I think you could unearth the mutt to send lotleth giant to the gy, atack for 8 and cast dread return for 5. That’s why I enjoy this deck. It has many lines of play (which makes it kinda hard too) Amazing video. Good to see a good player making videos with dredge!
@AlessandroPiracciniMTG20 күн бұрын
Yes you're definitely right, it was a clear missplay and i put it in the missplays comment 😁; I agree with you, the beauty of the deck is that is an aggo shell but has many lines, so it is very stimulating!

I picked this deck up recently and been doing really well online and going to start playing it on paper this week. This video was great because you talk through a lot of your lines.

Hi Allessandro, Great to see new pauper content creators with high level plays. Curious about one of the SB choices: why drown in sorrow over fang dragon? (double black difficult on turns 3 or 4, creature in yard for lothleth, can be reanimated, can be picked up with malevolent rumble) Keep up the great work!
@AlessandroPiracciniMTG22 күн бұрын
Hi! If the Dragon was instant speed i certainly would prefer it, but in my opinion dealing only 1 damage sorcery speed is very weak; the ideal against monored is to deal 2 damage instant speed but I'm afraid this deck can't afford Breath Weapon, so we have to choose between dealing 1 damage instant speed with Electrickery or Sandstorm in order to prevent Kuldotha+Bush or dealing 2 damage sorcery speed with Drown in Sorrow in order to get rid of the biggest goblins, and I prefer the second one because it also covers MonoWhite

@ makes sense. I’ve tried both and I’m still undecided. Valuing your opinion highly.

awesome video and decklist, almost identical to the one I run, only differance is i run 1 less conduit pylons and have 1 bojuka in maindeck, 2 bojuka in sideboard, and 1 less drown in sorrow in sideboard which opens 2 slots for flaring pain in sideboard. super fun deck to play, my favorite pauper deck at the moment

Kinda suspicious that no one's playing cemetery hate in that league... everytime I play against almost any decks there's a Nihil or Bojuka in the default list
@AlessandroPiracciniMTG23 күн бұрын
Poison Storm, UR Skred, BR Madness and Jeskai Ephemerate usually do not run graveyard hate in the main list, while against Affinity is pretty simple to play around the Spellbombs, as you can see by the Dredge winrate against that archetype!

greate deck, is this your favourite pauper deck of all time? or just at the moment (since the format does not allow to play certain decks consistently)?
@AlessandroPiracciniMTG26 күн бұрын
Up to now I would say of all time, I hope in the future there will be more unique decks or alternative game styles in order to diversify the format :D
