@@Ascension721 I think the video did it fine. there wasn't a need to go in depth on how the original tas was made. If you watch the video you will see that the video gave credit to the person (who in my opinion deserves the shout out because a lot of work was put in making the tas). I just think the video was assuming the average person isn't an idiot and knows what a TAS is, but behold, the youtube comment section :/

First of all, they can’t really update these games, they release them and can’t do anything about them, the most they can do is take the game off shelves and put an updated one on shelves, but for the most part, there are never updates, it mostly just slipped the mind of Nintendo i guess lol

It's not like he just said "computer, collect the 1-up for me please". The routing and planning is done by a human and this was no easy feat as it had been an unsolved challenge for years in the TAS community.

Tbh the video creator makes it ambiguous when he says "he got a TAS bot"; it makes people think TAS'ing is getting a robot/AI to figure out how to play a game perfectly when that's not the case at all

@@ericsmith718 it's not changing the game, it's just giving the console a list of inputs to press in what order and at what time. The point is to do something that would be allowed by the game but impossible for humans to do, such as collect this 1-up
