Sharing Dr Berg notes here: By 40, we’ve lost around 25% of the collagen in our connective tissue. Certain antibiotics, ultraviolet radiation, high sugar consumption, and poor diet can contribute to collagen breakdown and speed up premature aging. Vitamin D helps protect you against the loss of collagen and premature aging. The most potent stimulus of collagen is exercise. Focus on the plank exercise, eccentric exercises, and sprinting. Not only will these exercises make you look younger, but they’ll also improve the health of the vessels, valves, and tissues around your heart. There are several anti-aging foods that you should add to your diet to prevent premature aging. Adequate vitamin C intake is essential to form collagen. Raw sauerkraut has the highest amount of vitamin C! Vitamin K2 is vital for collagen and keeping your cartilage, ligaments, tendons, and fascia healthy. It also helps give your skin a youthful glow. Liver, egg yolk, and butter are the best food sources of vitamin K2. Magnesium allows your body to make collagen and helps vitamin D prevent its breakdown. Dark chocolate, almonds, and spinach are the best sources of magnesium. Zinc keeps skin youthful and speeds up wound healing. Oysters, red meat, and liver contain the most zinc. Copper is also essential. The best sources are oysters, red meat, shellfish, liver, and dark chocolate. High-quality protein is crucial in keeping you healthy and helping you look younger. Grass-fed beef is the best source. Intermittent fasting can promote autophagy, which has potent anti-aging effects. You must also prioritize sleep to reverse aging and have a youthful glow. Oxytocin is one of the most powerful anti-stress hormones. You can make your own cultivated yogurt product using the microbe L. reuteri to significantly increase this hormone. Thank you Dr Berg! 😺👍

@@TheTinFoilTiara LOL What you’re saying is you agree with your doctor getting information on youtube to heal you without even knowing the veracity of the information on the channel he is watching. You agree with the fact that doctors don’t need to spend years in studying anymore to get a PhD because everything is shared for free on youtube. We actually are ALL doctors because we watch channels on youtube. Can’t wait to see you at your oncologist’s when you get cancer to hear : «Hey, let’s try broccoli, I heard on youtube it’s anti cancer ! » I’m not against free sharing of information, people do what they want with this information. Hi Dr. Berg, I’m in my mid-30s and live a pretty healthy lifestyle. I exercise regularly, eat a balanced diet, and try to avoid sugar and carbs as much as possible. My main sources of protein are eggs, chicken breast, and occasionally ground beef. Unfortunately, I can’t tolerate other types of protein like steak or liver-they make me feel sick and even throw up. I also include lentils in my diet now and then. Recently, I’ve cut back on dairy and have been focusing more on vegetables, eggs, and chicken breast. Do you have any suggestions or advice based on this?
@skipmcelhenny73253 күн бұрын
I’ve been making Dr. William Davis’ lactobacillus reuteri fermented dairy for 9 straight months so far, and the benefits are amazing. Definitely increases dermal collagen for me, has increased my muscle mass and recovery time, has deepened my sleep, where I now remember my dreams, unlike before, etc. I’d recommend anyone watching this to do research on Dr Davis’ recipe, and get started. Also, Dr. Berg should put out a video showing how to make this “yogurt” as well. If anyone has any questions about making this, feel free to message me. For me, this fermented dairy has really been a game changer.

Thanks for another interesting video Dr. Berg, I think you're aging very well indeed, so excellent evidence that you practice what you preach!

@a.k.1902Күн бұрын
Agreed, the lack of seed oils seems to be a factor, and it was also mentioned about how the seed oils contain plant sterols that look very similar to cholesterol to the body, so they get carried around in much the same manner (a type of biomimicry), but when it comes to using what the body thinks is cholesterol, the plant sterol doesn't work for those final reactions to make the desired end products such as vitamin D, as it has a different chemical makeup, just a similar shape.

I listen to your channel a lot and appreciate your content. I’ve noticed that you frequently promote animal protein (grass-fed), which increases levels of mTOR activation. On the other hand, plant-based diets are often associated with lower risks of chronic diseases and reduced mTOR activity, which is theorized to slow aging. Personally, I don’t eat meat, but I have nothing against others who do. For context, I’m 70 years old and have often been told I look extremely young.

Do you sprout some grains? That helps make nutrients available.

Excellent vid, thx!! Is the milk culture you mention to easily make yogurt? Or? 🙏

The L. Reuteri "yogurt" recipe is all over Dr. Berg's channel and is very easy once you have the ingredients. I'm starting my 4th batch this evening. 😊
@brothermine22923 күн бұрын
After searching online, I think the microbe he was talking about is either Lactobacillus Reuteri or Limosilactobacillus Reuteri. Not typically found in yogurts, but you can purchase it and cultivate it in home-made yogurt.
@lanagrahamntx3 күн бұрын
@@brothermine2292 that is correct. Dr. William Davis came up with it. Dr. Berg interviewed Dr. Davis recently. It is in Dr. Davis' book Super Gut and also here on Dr. Berg's channel.
