The crazy thing is, Billy didn't know how to play this song... he noodled around a for maybe 20 seconds, than played it better than someone who had been playing it their entire life ever could. Such talent.

@@redrocksparkandampitheatre actually, she called Forked Deer, but played Whiskey Before Breakfast and he switched it back to Forked Deer. But you know the old joke: How do tell all these fiddle tunes apart? Answer: they have different names!

@@redrocksparkandampitheatre: I’m not disparaging anyone’s playing here but it’s a simple 3 chord song in the key of D, capoed up on Billy’s guitar so he can play it essentially in C, the easiest guitar fingering by far. He could have played licks for ‘Turkey in the Haymow’ and it would have fit, lol.
