I absolutely love watching the kids learn to drive. You guys are great parents and from what I see in the videos you don't lose your cool or yell...my dad would yell at 40yrs old I still hate driving when he's in the car with me lol he's a great dad but not for teaching driving

This woman (me) is with the men that have this mentality (not all men do) if it’s a sentimental occasion then yes, splurge a little;.. but if it’s just out of want then she can be as selfish as she wants, doesn’t mean that the man should be okay with wasting large sums of money (that is better used to feed their family, and pay the bills) It’s not all about the woman and what she wants.

Interestingly enough though, my sister spent a whopping $20 on her wedding dress (not a typo) she made it herself, and looked gorgeous (although such a sentimental occasion means she could have paid into the tens of thousands,.. which some bridezillas do) I’d never pay more than a days wages on a garment that I’ll only wear for one day; unless it’s something like a wedding or a first of some kind.

I get this 100%. I’m 35 next month and I’m only going for my learners permit now (because I’m building a tiny house, that I intend to be able to tow it with my own vehicle). I’m already overthinking traffic, upkeep, and everything that being a responsible and safe driver entails (and realising that I live in an area where far too many selfish people behave as though they think that they are trying out to be rev head stunt drivers, and seem to hate their family so much that they want to force them to visit them in jail, or attend their premature funeral) In Australia we call them ‘Hoons’.
