I always wore dresses and with corsets and my girlfriends in my group loosen it before dinner, tighten it for pictures, and then loosen it for the dance! We all helped each other out and it made it WAY easier :)

Well I didn't get to experience prom, but from what my friends told me, they are able to eat whenever they want but the food is available before the dances start. In weddings/meetings, etc it's typically after the event with snacks available during/before it

no hate but I'd recommend doing reverse searches and looking elsewhere IF you can to anyone reading this and is looking for a formal dress. Amazon is less curated than some think, is overpriced due to the userbase not doing research (can be found on cheaper sites or use stolen photos that they use to lure in customers by creating replicas), and with current ethics issues surrounding the company and Bezos, it is worth looking at other retailers online or in person. you can easily look up specific colours/materials/features on google and find thousands of results to your fancy these days. there are so many options out there that are priced fairly if you look!

Favorite two, teal one and the sequins one. I hate sequins but sometimes those dresses can fit live gloves and they are so worth it. And a way to get rid of the itchiness is to sew a ribbon that's large enough around the spots that itch (the top of the dress usually)
