Thank you a lot, Nami-san. I am a Russian student and went to another city to get my education. It was difficult for me to find out how I can manage living on my own but your videos tought me so much about what an adult and self-dependent life is. I've started to watch your videos recently but I have already got so much improvement in the quality of my life. Thanks to you I feel more mature and confident now. Your ability to prioritize yourself and lead such a calm and thouroughful life is just amazing and something our societies are lack of nowadays. Thank you for being such a beautiful personality. Greetings from Russia. 🇷🇺

You knock it out of the park with these deceptively simple videos. I know you work with real care and attention to detail but make it all seem effortless and relaxed, so the cinematography and directing is well paced and the atmosphere so well controlled that it becomes a successfully immersive experience for the viewer. Fantastic. I love Japan and miss it so much.
Nami - you are such a beautiful person. I hope you continue to upload videos as long as possible. I thoroughly enjoy watching and learning about your culture, seeing your unique recipes, and learning about life in Japan. You are amazing, and I thank you for the hard work you put into sharing your adventures with all of us.

What a lovely video! Thank you Nami for showing us how to live life peacefully and gratefully. After a lifetime of caring for others I’m finding it difficult to motivate myself now that I am without the daily pressure of having too much to do. I spent YEARS planning for this stage of my life, it’s taken a young woman half my age, living on the other side of the world to inspire me how to live simply. God bless you and your work. 🙏🙏

Hi Nami - What a lovely video! Enjoyed your perfect day in charming Asakusa--your kimonos were beautiful and they took fancy dress to a new level. It's so nice you and your grandmother send each other such thoughtful gifts! I never knew gingkos produced edible nuts... wish we could taste your food through videos. Hopefully the next step in technology? Oh my gosh--the cat cafe looked like HEAVEN! And the paw-shaped foam? PURR-fect! Congratulations on 600K subscribers--thank you for sharing your daily life with us. You inspire through your food, crafts, adventures, shopping and thoughtful self-care. Ahhh... a last glimpse of Nami-chan and see you next Saturday!

There’s a lot of quiet American KZbin video’s, just type in ASMR or no talking video’s. I’ve seen some good, no talking, video’s from America. But also anyone who speaks English in a video from another country, England, Australia, Canada, they have a lot of video’s with excessive talking and most of those video’s are just people teaching how to make something or clean or organize. I think it’s great that they work hard in making video’s and help tons of people and have many subscribers and even earn extra money with sponsors. I’m proud of the American people who put themselves out there for the world to see and they get lots of praise.

your videos are so relaxing to me. You never seem hurried or frazzled, just calm and taking things one at a time. I don't always succeed but I try to carry that energy into my own life and I admire how spotless your home is. Is it just a normal thing where you live that people love amd care for cats so much? Here in the US so many people consider stray cats or outdoor cats a nuisance and want to "get rid" of them. I love seeing the cats in your videos

Hi, Nami. Here in the U.S., we LOVE our fried chicken "golden brown and delicious"! I've observed that fried chicken in Asian recipes uses corn flour, or rice flour, as it seems that the favored result is super-crunchy chicken, which is produced by either corn, but especially rice flour. We use wheat flour in the U.S., but Southern recipes (from the U.S.) may add corn meal (which is coarse ground and very yellow) for a different result. I've also noted from my favorite cook from South Korea (Maangchi) that the highly favored Korean fried chicken is fried TWICE for that really crunchy bite! We typically fry once in the States, length of time varying for dark meat versus light meat of the chicken.

Aaahh so fun. I would like to visit the Cat Cafe. What a great day. Lovely that you can walk around in kimono too. I am not sure about those potatoes... are they maybe jerusalem artichokes? I love your videos. Every single one seems to show me some small step toward living a better life as a single. Thank you Nami.
@junejolley62483 жыл бұрын
Yes, definitely Jerusalem Artichokes
@meowpowwow113 жыл бұрын
I believe the potatoes are satoimo, a small variety of taro root that’s commonly used in Japan. :) My family used to grow Jerusalem artichokes and pickle them, and they look a bit different…they have a lot of nodules/bumpy areas on them kind of like ginger root does. Also, as long as you clean the skin thoroughly, you don’t have to peel Jerusalem artichokes; you can eat the skin. However, satoimo have thick root-like hairs on them, so they have to be peeled as Nami-san showed in the video. :)
