Leif you're videos and instructional videos are pure gold! These concepts are brand new to me from stumbling on Mary Wanless' podcast recently and auditing one of her clinics this October. I was so thrilled to find your video;s to continue my learning and understanding of these riding principles that are new to me and make so much sense! Thank you to the wonderful riders you have that are willing to post their sessions with you - great learning opportunities for all!

Ok so I have been doing everything wrong when riding. Very nice advice. I can’t wait to use them on my mare.

Leif, you're an incredibly gifted coach & rider. I love all your principals, improving rider biomechanics. Hands is something that isn't often explained in detail. Weighing the elbow's, pushing the shopping cart is a great analogy to create a passive rein resistance. Would really appreciate more on this subject - please!

I have one question: why does she ride with a curb, when she obviously has too restless a hand for that and should actually be riding on a snaffle. She would like to show-jumping, and for that she takes dressage lessons. But why on a curb? Thank you for the answer.... greats from a german rider!

I agree a snaffle would have been better suited for her. This horse is new to our program and has always been ridden in a double so we haven’t switched her to a snaffle yet, but is something we plan to do. The curb was fairly loose through out the ride.
