Thank you! I recognize the twist in my own body but was not aware of it until I watched this rider. I would go practice now if I were not in the freezing Northwest!

Great lesson explaining biomechanics. 👏🏻 I think the girth is a little too short though.

Just recently discovered this channel. The content is absolute gold! Horse and riders from different levels and disciplines - awesome! Do you by any chance do online consultations?

Great lesson!! Thank you very much for sharing it with us willing to learn :) I do have small questions though: for the sake of the horse back, why does sitting trot is so long? why not only few steps and increasing them? Why not holding one hands on the saddle and once the bumps are much less and hands becoming independent, then moving to the second step? I am having troubles as well w sitting trot and i can do well only few steps yet. But, your videos are really interesting and again thank you so so much!!

So this also works outside the arena - went for a trail ride after 2 weeks no riding due to weather - realized i was sitting on a lot of energy, then started a "this is my walk" mantra in rhythm of walk; kept awareness of bear down to not get left behind, and my horse settled down and we had a great ride!

Dressage: Just sit there. All horsemanship boils down to one thing: SIT DOWN. LET GRAVITY DO THE WORK.
