I am glad to see there are other trainers promoting this type of training. Stretching long and low develops the much-needed topline and you can see a clear difference in roundness and working over the back of horses who stretch this way vs riders who do not use this method. Long and low/Low deep round are not the same as Rollkur!!

Umm if you pull any more against the horse..the horse would be touching with he knees to his head..not correct at all. Stretchibg is straight to the ground or above the line.

I must agree. We do not see horses doing this when at freedom in pasture.

my horse fell on his head while streching 😅 so I don't do it too often if I'm not directed by a trainer who can watch incase he goes to deep 😊

that is how to teach the horse to move with all weight in the front

No gymnastic posible with this kind of bit.

scotch-B bullshit. do you really think this horse is not relaxed?
@scotchb299 жыл бұрын
Amelia Gawin of course, very relaxed, but this is only possible with this kind of horses. German Warmblods cannot be ridden like this: they would get a sour back.

The "unforced line" is what riders say when they are not able to keep a steady-flexible connection to the reins. This guy uses the kandare because with a simple bit he is unable to keep a straight line rider arm-horse mouth keeping the horse nose before the vertical.

totally agree, this horse is overbent even in the neck stretches. He looks tight and uncomfortable the entire time, not seeking the bit, not stretching forward through the back. This is not a nice example of classical dressage at all imo.

Not true ELENA. The bit is only an extension of the rider's hand. The simplest bit can be used badly, and the most intricate bit can be used delicately.
